Liked: This camp site is the best I have visited. They have thought of everything to make campimg as easy as possible. The facilities were top! Microwave, toaster, kettle and huge communal fridge with plenty of labels available free to use in a good central point. They even had lockers to charge your phone. If you went none EHU you definitely would not struggle.
The staff were fantastic, we needed a jump start and they were there within 5 min and got us going again, facilities always clean and tidy.
The shower spaces were easy, plenty of hooks to hang your stuff, easy accessible individual lockable shower rooms.
Every sink had washing up liquid and hand soap, the toilets always had toilet roll too.
The pitches sizes are huge which was fantastic, we asked for a corner pitch as we had dogs and a corner pitch we got.
Although people say this is in a remote location. I loved the drive to and from Keswick as the views where just stunning and the roads were lovely to drive.
Even though the camp site was busy, the silent hours where followed and it was so peaceful.....when the wind stopped.
The joys a fire pit brings too, for £25 we got the pit, logs, kindling, newspaper, and matches with an easy QR code to scan to pay for more.
Wifi was definitely a bonus too 😀
I will definitely be visiting again, we had a perfect week. Next time I think we will book a hotel tub pitch.
Disliked: I don't have any. Fab camp site. I like that they have a variation of units too, so if friends didnt want to camp they could still come with.

Liked: Easy to find the site, heating in toilet/shower block, facilities regularly cleaned, communal fridge/freezer was a great addition, lovely dog walk around the site which went past the alpacas, great views
Disliked: Pitch was on a slope, wifi was very patchy and disconnected frequently, dogs being kept on leads wasn’t enforced, a lot of noise from others through the night despite signs asking for quiet after 9 and silence after 11 - even earplugs weren’t enough some nights

Liked: This is a great camp for onward trips to Scotland. This was my third visit to the camp. Reception and staff super friendly and well provisioned shop. An added bonus of a pizza to pitch delivery service
Disliked: Camp would score a 10 if it were not for unisex shower and toilet facilities. Well advertised as so but just a personal dislike. Wont stop me using the camp though
