Liked: The pitch was at the far end of the park and we could choose where we wanted to pitch. Silloth is lovely and lovely folk. Great beach and perfect Polish/English fusion takeaway/cafe.
Disliked: The facilities were too few which meant they were dirty quickly. They were cleaned once daily but were disgusting prior to cleaning, no loo roll. Nowhere to put toiletries in the shower and only one hook to hang clothes. Only 2 washing up sinks for lots of pitches. Pitches waterlogged and muddy. Very noisy site, 2am parties and car horns going off. Suppose this might suit some but for us it means we won't be revisiting. Lovely area, shame about the camp site.

Liked: The entertainment was spot on. Kids enjoyed it
Disliked: The site could do with reg plate recognition. Anyone could come and go. There needs to be speed limit signs of 5mp al over the site. Just one 10mph sign on entry but cars were flying up and down the site with kids running around from blind spots around caravans especially in the touring part. Big accident waiting to happen. I was surprised how fast cars were driving through the site with kids playing so that needs enforcing. Merchandise from the characters onside I found really expensive. No space foe the working mum or dad who wanted to use WiFi and catch up on emails/calls. A small space or coffee corner where adults can go for quiet time or work/ calls woukd be a great addition Has great potential to be a good site but with some little changes could be great.

Liked: Good facilities (pool/park/children's activities) Ideal for the kids. Touring pitches are not too far away from the main facilities All staff very friendly/helpful The site is currently being refurbished
Disliked: The entertainment area was upstairs and the lift was out of order, not ideal with a pram and then to get to the top to find there was no seating left, understand the venue is being updated however gras being cut/weeds on side of walk ways should be standard maintance

Liked: Check in was very organised, professional and hassle free. The touring pitch area was excellent and well situated. The shower and toilet blocks were also excellent. Well maintained. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the pizzas from the pizza van were lovely and the female member of staff on the van was friendly and welcoming.
Disliked: The alcohol was expensive - £13 for two drinks. A late night disco was advertised but was cancelled so that "people could watch the boxing match". Personally I was not interested in the boxing match. There need to be clear direction signs to the exit. The swimming pool wasn't open the day we were there.
