Liked: Convenience of location from motorway when breaking a long trip to Scotland from south of England.
Disliked: No washing up facilities so not camper van friendly. Only one shower for entire campsite hence again not camper van friendly.

Liked: Lovely location close to M6 with shower facilities, water and electricity to each pitch. Friendly welcome and quiet surroundings apart from some bleating sheep. Level pitches too, mainly permanent caravans on site.

Liked: Quiet site, good pitches, friendly relaxed atmosphere, Margaret is a helpful easy-going proprietor. Most of the pitches are seasonal and the caravanners we met were friendly and sociable. The site has a nice community spirit.
Disliked: The showers and toilets could do with updating but are adequate.
