What customers say
Great facilities like the pool, bar & restaurant, plus friendly staff and good value are a big hit. Pods are usually clean & warm, but watch out for patchy WiFi/phone signal and some gravel pitches. A few found pods small or the site tricky for caravans.

A great stay at a lovely park.
Camping pod (pet friendly)
Liked We loved our two night stay in our dog friendly camping pod.
Everything was great- the pod, the reception, the food, the pool, the shower block, the staff and the holiday park itself.
It's a quiet, leafy holiday park which suited us perfectly.
The shower block was nicer than many I've been in and was clean.
We loved the pool. Again, that was quiet.
We loved that there's an inside seating space for dogs.
The food menu was substantial and the bar well stocked too.
The pod itself was good. It had more plug sockets than I expected. The weather was nice so we didn't need the heating but appreciated that it was there. We were in a shady area so had no issue with light in the mornings but thicker curtains would be my only suggestion for improvement.
I'd recommend bringing lamps for the evening when you're winding down (we brought lamps and strung up fairy lights) because there is just the one overhead light and it is bright.
We comfortably fit in a double bed, a single bed, a dog crate, a camping table and 3 camping chairs. As well as bags and shoes.
Unfortunately we didn't check out the walking trail because of injury but what we did see of the park was lovely and I think children would enjoy the play area.
A really great stay.
Tip: bring change if you want to use the little arcarde/air hockey as there's no cash machine on site.

Should have been great.
Power optional gravel caravan site
Liked Good to have bar and restaurant. Generally the facilities were good.
Disliked The team member performing check in made the whole experience incredibly confusing. So much so that they confused themselves and I ended up being put on the Halls More site which was not where I booked. It was ok but not what I paid for and very crowded.

Health and safety concerns and generally poor site - do not recommend
Power optional gravel caravan site
Liked The site was quiet and lots of birdsong. The toilet block was fairly recently renovated
Disliked My pitch was in the car park. Literally. No view, cars parking right next to me in the morning, not a place you wanted to sit outside the van in the evening!
Waste bins over flowing (once I even found them)
Lack of clear signage or direction for elsan points/grey water/ fresh water refilling
My biggest complaint however was about the toilets/shower:
-lights in the toilet block are on a motion sensor but that doesn’t detect motion in the showers, so the lights go off and can’t be turned back on from inside the shower cubicle. This lead to me having a nasty fall when I slipped on a step
-the showers are those annoying push buttons. I fully support saving water but they gave 10 seconds at a time! (I counted!). And you couldn’t hold the button permanently as it needed to be released to get proper water pressure
-toilet seats the wrong size for the actual toilet making them unstable
-toilet roll dispensers that got snagged up so you couldn’t actually get the paper
I’ve shared all the above with the site and requested a full refund! Never again! If I wasn’t hurting after my fall I would have driven and found a different place to stay the night.

Liked Pitch was small and uneven but close to reception, pool and bar. Staff were amazing, big shout out to the magyar behind the bar she was fab, nice to catchup on a little Hungarian lingo. Sunday lunch was very nice to
Disliked Toilets and shower cubicles were fine after they had been cleaned but wouldn't take long to become messy
