Liked: Just off a main route, situated at the back of the Inn, so not too much noise. Great stopover, lovely well run Inn situated in a picturescue village. Good clean facilities. The Landlord and staff at the Inn were very friendly and welcoming and the menu and food were great and not over priced. Would definatly stop here again.

Disliked: A toilet in the campsite would be great and no dogs in pub is a bit of a pain.. but well done guys..

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time for your review. But just for the purpose of anyone reading this review the toilets and rule on dogs is all in the information before you book. We love dogs but being a small but popular busy pub for food we had to take this choice. Toilets are avalable in the pub in the pub opening hrs and dogs are more than welcome on site and in our beer garden.

Liked: Small site but very well maintained. The pitches are a great size and well spaced out. There is no toilet or shower block on site but you can use the pub toilet if it’s open. The Wellington pub is a little gem, we had Sunday lunch which was amazing, all home cooked veg and locally sourced beef The staff are all really friendly and accommodating. .

Liked: Site was immaculate, spacious and value for money. The beer was well kept and too enjoyable.. On a very hot and busy evening The landlord/lady were constantly on the move and maintained their friendliness, alternatingbetween bar and food deliveries for respite. The beer garden was very clean and on a busy evening a vital extension to the dining area. The food choice was good especially the specials board. I watched some delicious looking meals been delivered. A great venue and team
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.. All possible issues are declared during booking, ie no showers.

Liked: Basically everything, we have stayed here before and will again when we head north from our home. There site is really nice for a small one but for me its the welcome you always get from the staff in the bar, makes you feel like a regular/local. Always big smiles from them. Can't recommend them enough and even if you are in the area and fancy a drink or meal stop in.
