Liked: Nice quiet location, clean and tidy. Amenities were clean and sure was totally litter free. Plenty room on the pitches, with furebowls available. This is a working farm site so did have a welcome committee of the three farm dogs who were very friendly, chickens roaming around near the barns, cows and horses in adjacent fields. Kids would love it.
Would definitely use again if in the area.
Disliked: Nothing there for me to dislike.

Liked: Lovely campsite, check in was easy (ring the mobile number on the board). Was given a few choices on where to pitch, we decided to go through the farm buildings to the top field. There were 2 toilets up there which were clean, and fire pits dotted about to use (firewood available from the farm). We arrived early so were the only ones for a while, but didn’t get too busy as was nice and quiet. Toilet facilities were fine, didn’t use the showers but also looked ok. Nice walk to Broughton and can make it a loop back to the campsite. Rated child friendliness as 1 as it was adults only, same with WiFi as unsure if they had it as didn’t use it, but had a good phone signal there.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Louise was a great host, was brill stopping on a working farm, the carriage we stopped in was cool, we declined any logs for the log burner as was warm enough until it came to night time - wish we’d bought some and lit it as was a tad cold but our fault. Great quiet location but a popular spot. Would recommend and stay again.

Liked: Wonderful peaceful site with multiple plots, depending what sort of pitch you’re after.
Had great views on the main pitch and plenty of space.
It is a working farm so all the different farm animals close to facilities which was great fun.
Facilities were good as well and the lovely lady running the site was easily reachable

Liked: Lovely location not it does state this is a quiet site however if that is what your looking for this is definitely not but did not bother us the men’s showers are also freezing yet again this did not bother us
Disliked: The farm dogs are left to roam which is fine there are 5 of them however they are not all working dogs. One of the smaller dogs ate our dogs food and ran off with it there was dog mess that we had to clean up prior to pitching our tent and the dogs are out all day which meant our dog had to stay in the tent for a lot of our time as he is a nervous dog

Liked: Very cute and affordable place to stay for a getaway. Great for animal lovers. The sheep will sleep right outside your cabin or tent and the dogs will love to play fetch with you.
Disliked: The showers and toilets could be kept a bit cleaner and there was someone else’s dog fur on our bed.
