  • Peaceful adult-only site on a small working farm a mile from Gawsworth
  • Jodrell Bank and Peak District walks within 15 minutes' drive
  • Communal firepit on site; easy access from the A536
High Lane Farm is a small working farm in a peaceful Cheshire spot about a mile from the village of Gawsworth. The village has a pub and a fishery, and it’s also home to Gawsworth Hall, a Tudor manor house that’s open for weekend visits and holds events such as live music and outdoor theatre shows. There’s plenty of space to relax at this adults-only site, and it’s often treated to gorgeous sunrises and sunsets as well as having some lovely scenery to admire at any time of day. There are a couple of dogs on site already, so guests are welcome to bring a dog along – there are several places nearby to take them out for a walk. There’s a rural atmosphere on site but it’s not a tricky location to get to – quite the opposite in fact, as it’s easily accessed from the A536. That also means that it’ll be straightforward to get out and about, perhaps planning a visit to Jodrell Bank or hikes in the southern part of the Peak District National Park. Back on site, facilities include a communal firepit, showers and toilets, and you’re allowed to bring along a barbecue for some alfresco cooking if you don’t fancy the trip to the pub.

Unpowered grass tent site

Liked Loved everything about this camp site. There was lots of space and the hosts were wonderful. We arrived a little late on Friday and messaged ahead to check this ok and it was. The place was peaceful and close Natwich which we explored on the Saturday. We especially loved the fresh eggs which we brought home and the damson vodka was also a hit. We will definitely be back

Liked A really lovely little farm camp spot.
Steve (owner) was really friendly and gave some great advice on where to visit next (Leek - which was lovely). Pub just up the road with great food.

Lovely hearing all the cows, turkeys and chickens in the morning and facilities good too. Great value.

Liked Peaceful, simple site with great shower n the barn and somewhere to make a brew that feels homely. It is a working farm, so loads of animals about. Liz was on hand to welcome us and make us feel at home. Beautiful location for amazing sunrises. 10 minute walk from a historic pub and Gawsworth Hall.
