Hale's Camping is situated on the Sandstone trail within 27 acres of picturesque Cheshire countryside. Sporting stunning views, excellent access to beautiful walks and some great local attractions, whether you are a family looking for a quiet break or an extreme sports enthusiast, this is the place for you. The campsite has basic, but comfortable, facilities onsite with a toilet block and free hot showers. Typically for the Cheshire countryside you are never too far from a lovely country pub with The Sandstone Inn and The Pheasant, only a short walk away, serving delicious food and real local ales.

Route directions

Take the A41 from Chester and head towards Whitchurch until you get to Broxton Roundabout. Take the first exit and head up the hill until you reach The Sandstone Inn where you take an immediate left. Continue for about a mile and the campsite is on the right just after Harthill Cookery School.

For younger children and big kids alike not only is the campsite situated next to the mountain board and bike park, but is also within easy access to the famous Cheshire Ice Cream Farm, the Candle Workshop and the Teddy Bear Factory and café. The site is also located right next door to the Harthill Cookery School for those who wish to improve upon their culinary skills. For keen fishermen, Cheshire Fisheries is just down the road. Amenities and shops are available in the local village, Tattenhall, only a 2-minute drive away while the historic town of Chester is only an 8 mile drive away.
