Disliked: Booked an electric tent pitch as did a friend. We arrived together and were asked if we wanted electric to which we said yes as this is what we paid for. We were shown to the corner of the camping field and asked if we could fit basically into 1 pitch as they were over Booked. We did this but couldn't park either cars on the pitch as needed to leave room for other tents. By the end of the Saturday there was a lot of tents/caravans on the field making it cramped and the other tents were so close you could here everyones conversion's . Electric hook ups were close to us however there are not enough on the field for the amount of bookings they are taking, there were others who arrived later or the next day who had paid the same but had no access to electric! Toilet and Shower block very run down and need updating and cleaned/stocked more frequently. Outdoor sink was blocked for the whole of out stay as well despite being reported it was never fixes .Would be a lovely site if they weren't over booking.

Liked: Location close to Alnwick and other nice places to visit
Disliked: I pitched the tent, went out and when I returned I could not even park next to my tent as half of my pitch area was taken over by tents. I don't mind children but the noise of about 10 children in those tents next to me, I couldn't get a night's sleep. Also there was only one sink for dishes and it was blocked and full of food waste , completely unhygienic.

Liked: Big clean toilet block flat field and lots of space. Lots of hot water
Disliked: An uncommon complaint, the pressure and volume of water fro the hot taps when you pushed the tap was often too much for the sink and tended to splash up onto your clothes.

Liked: Handy base for touring Northumberland. Good size pitches with water and electric. Shower and toilet block were very clean throughout stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great pub on site. Some noise from trains during the day but no problem at night and this is to be expected when pitched next to a railway.
Disliked: Toilet block is a little tired but was kept clean throughout.
