What customers say

This tidy, peaceful farm site has roomy, serviced pitches with great country views. Facilities, including cool toilet sheds & a dog wash, are kept spotless. Guests love the handy welcome info & freedom to pick their spot. Showers are a short stroll, but the quiet vibe & Dales access make it a top choice.

Liked Large, spacious pitches and quiet, peaceful location. Great for cycling into Gargrave, Malham and Skipton. We booked for two nights but added a third night because we liked it so much.

Liked Well spaced out pitches. Electric and water at each pitch. Lovely countryside around.
Good communication including very thorough welcome pack!

Disliked A long walk to the showers BUT once there, they were great plentiful hot water and good water pressure.

Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site

Liked Very quiet site with spacious hard standing pitches all with loads of room around them. Facilities although in wooden sheds are kept immaculate and are plumbed into the mains, very nice to use, always well stocked with soap toilet roll and paper hand towel with a plentiful supply of hot water. Dish washing cabin and information centre also very good. Shower is located next to the owners house down the track just a short walk from the site. The owners were lovely and friendly and kept a low profile. Check In was very easy basically choose your pitch from the ones available and put your name against your chosen one with leaving date. They even provided pitch in use markers for campervans for when you went off site. A great site and highly recommend if you like a clean well kept and very quiet site, a credit to the owners.

Liked The good sized pitches and the lovely scenery surrounding the site. It was also a very peaceful location but had easy to access other areas of interest such as Malham, Grassington and Skipton which were only a short drive away.

Local attractions

If you’re not planning lengthy rambles on the long-distance paths, set forth for some of the local highlights instead. Get going in Gargrave (five minutes’ drive) with a waterside walk by the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, then see cascades in action at Linton Falls (20 minutes). Make time for Malham too: a 15-minute drive gets you over to this fab village and its trio of top sights (Malham Cove, Janet’s Foss and Gordale Scar). After that, take an uphill challenge on the mountain paths of Pen-y-Ghent (35 minutes) or head underground to see what’s in store at Ingleborough Cave (40 minutes). Other ways to get about? Perhaps with a day of horse riding from Kilnsey or a rather more laidback trip on the Settle-Carlisle Railway – both are about 20 minutes’ drive away. And if you’ve got tiddlers who’d benefit from staying in one place for a while, there’s plenty to keep them amused among the animals, tractor tours and play areas of Hesketh Farm Park (20 minutes).
