  • Luxury glamping pods on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds
  • A 20-minute drive from Malton and half an hour from York
  • Kitchenette, decking with a firepit and gas barbecues for hire
Select Bugthorpe Grange Glamping as your next chill-out spot and you might have cycles in the Yorkshire Wolds and barbecues by your camping pod on your holiday highlight reel. With quality accommodation high on home comforts and a relaxing, peaceful location surrounded by sloping agricultural land and woodland, this is an excellent spot for stylish stays in the countryside. You’ll be happy to know that the pods are fully insulated with underfloor heating. The lounge area has a comfy sofa, an extendable dining table and chairs and a wall-mounted smart TV. There’s a fully-fitted kitchenette too, with a ceramic hob, a fridge with an ice compartment, a microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and a range of crockery, glassware and pans. The pods are designed with families in mind. Each sleeps up to five across two double beds (with Sealy mattresses) and one single bunk suited to a child – so no one has to draw the short straw and take a sofa bed. The unique layout means that kids can retire to bed while parents continue their movie night with a glass of wine. Add to that luxurious cotton bed linen and duvets, a wet room complete with a shower, heated towel rail and towels and a furnished decking area, and you’ve got yourself a dandy set-up. The decking seating around the firepit and the communal field around the pods makes appreciating the scenery easy too. A pack of logs is provided in each pod, with further packs available to purchase (all locally and sustainably sourced on the estate). High-quality gas barbecues are also available for hire. Eating out instead? There are plenty of market towns within driving distance (like Malton, 20 minutes’ drive away) and York is half an hour’s drive away. As the site’s on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, put your energy to good use on walking and cycling routes over the Wolds like the Yorkshire Wolds Way.
