Unpowered grass campervan or tent site

Liked Quiet pitches, relaxed. Honesty shop is such a great idea with a place to charge electronics if needed. We had a little fire pit in that area. Stunning views.

Disliked Shame there wasn't shower facilities for the tent campers or ability to wash hands properly as I have eczema so hand sanitiser only isnt very good for my skin.

Bell tent

Liked Coast and camplight was perfect! It was amazing location. You felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful but 5 minutes away from the coast and sea.
The outdoor cooking facilities were amazing. Showers were good!
We caught the bus into Whitby and it was easy and manageable.
I would definitely recommend for couples.
So peaceful and relaxing!
We will definitely be returning!
Ed and Verity have made a coastal heaven!

Local attractions

Start by taking a stroll to see your surroundings – there are lots of lovely walks from the site, and about a mile away you can link up with the Cinder Track, a disused railway line running to Whitby or Robin Hood’s Bay. You can also follow part of the Coast to Coast trail, which passes through the farm. A little beck in the woods is a nice place to cool off with a paddle when you return. Having seen Whitby from afar you’ll surely want to get down there to explore. If you're not walking, you can drive down there in about 10 minutes to visit the abbey, 199 Steps and Captain Cook Memorial Museum, wander through the historic streets and grab fish and chips on the beach. For more outings, Robin Hood’s Bay and Falling Foss Tea Garden are both 10 minutes’ drive away, and it’s a 20-minute drive to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway at Goathland.
