Liked: Everything. Spotless new development. Well laid out and plenty room. All amenities in perfect condition. Toilets and showers spotless and well serviced Sea views and five minutes drive from Hornsea. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended

Liked: Lovely site only a couple of years old. All flat large pitches. Helpful friendly owners. Lots of nice little touches like fairy lights and life affirming messages in the toilets. Everywhere well looked after, toilets and showers spotless. Just a short walk from a cafe and a great beach - need to keep an eye on the tide times. Short drive to Hornsea for fish and chips. Haven't rated WiFi as we didn't use or enquire about it.

Liked: Everything. Stunning park, beautifully presented pitch with grass area and own parking next to van. Very clean and well presented. Lovely friendly staff. Lovely facilities. On arrival, all I could say was 'stunning'. Comfort and beauty seems to be the priority over profit.

Disliked: The weather! Unfortunately, no one can control that.

Liked: Absolutely outstanding, owner was so helpful, the site was beautiful, everywhere you looked, fields and ocean view. Beautiful quiet beach a few minutes walk away. Shower blocks so pristine with a plus, toiletries there for you to use. So good we are booked in Togo back in a few weeks time.

Start by heading up to Hornsea (five minutes’ drive) for a visit to the Hornsea Folk Museum, which has a Victorian farm kitchen, a dairy and a blacksmith’s shop, plus regular craft demonstrations (pottery, lace making and spinning among them). After that, you might like to take the kids to feed sheep and horses at the town’s Honeysuckle Farm or check out the creepy-crawlies at Bugtopia Hornsea Zoo. Or maybe it’s time for a peaceful picnic at Hornsea Mere, a popular spot for birdwatching, fishing and sailing. For a change of scenery, take a trip to Hull (25 minutes) to see all sorts of vintage transport displays at the free Streetlife Museum, where you can also ride an old tram through a reconstructed historic street, or learn about underwater life at The Deep aquarium. Burton Constable Hall & Grounds (15 minutes) is another nearby place that’s worth a visit for a stroll through Capability Brown-designed parkland, a tour of the art-filled house and a peek into the Cabinet of Curiosities.

A cable measuring at least 3 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 2 day(s) of arrival.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
