  • Family-friendly site next door to a well-established Suffolk farm park
  • A 15-minute drive from Woodbridge; half an hour from the Suffolk coast
  • Family-friendly country pub a 10-minute stroll away
With friendly animals to ruffle and family train rides to take, it’s no wonder that numerous nippers (and a good handful of grownups, to be fair) have expressed a desire to take up residence when visiting a farm park. And here at Suffolk’s Easton Farm Park they can do (almost) exactly that. While the animals take a bit of an overnight rest from the constant adoration, guests can pitch up in the fields right next door, ready to get back in for more farmyard action the following day. (And as a special treat, those staying here can sashay in and out of the park as much as they like once they’ve paid a single entry fee…) The folk here have been welcoming guests to their gorgeous little rural spot for 40 years or so, learning a thing or two about what makes a good stay along the way – as a result, the bathroom facilities here are particularly fine, with bonus points for such things as underfloor heating and plenty of mirrors in the ladies’ section. The dog-friendly site has Barrel Bug safari and family train rides for families too. Finishing up a farm day with a barbecue or campfire is a fine idea, if that’s what you fancy (both are allowed on site); there’s also a family-friendly country pub a 10-minute stroll away in the village of Easton, for evenings when you’d rather have someone else sort the eats for you while you partake of a local ale or few.

What customers say

Great family campsite with a popular farm park, activities and animals. Praised for spacious pitches, clean facilities and friendly staff. Kids love the playground. Downsides: limited WiFi/phone signal and occasional hot water issues in showers. Some found pitches uneven and toilets needing more attention during busy times.

Unpowered grass site

Liked Lovely campsite, spacious field with big pitches and lots of space for games. Lovely friendly atmosphere, our kids made friends immediately. So much to do on farm we stayed on site for majority of our 4 day stay (would happily have spent all 4 days there but felt we should see some of the area as there is so much else to do locally too!). Great location.

Disliked Toilets, showers and family room were very dirty, on occasions had no soap or paper to dry hands. Our first night was a weekend in August so very busy and we accepted that impacts facilities, but subsequent weekdays were much quiter (site was only about 1/3rd capacity) but cleanliness didn't improve. Family room was grim every night (on one day bath, wall and bin were literally splattered with faeces) and toweling bath mat was filthy and not changed during our stay. No cleaning materials (eg mop/squeegy) available for guests to clean themselves).

10-amp powered grass site

Liked Very friendly staff. Wonderful park for the children. Foam party a real winner. Showers very good and toilets kept well despite the amount of campers at the weekend. Animals obviously happy so well looked after.

Fridge, freezer and washing machines really good in the family room.

Disliked Overflowing bins in the ladies toilets mostly at the weekend. This could easily be resolved by providing another bin when the site has more campers.

Shower head in the disabled bathroom was challenging-needs a bit of maintenance.

Liked Friendly staff.

Disliked Toilets always looked like they had been left for a week. Pitches are not level (no warning of this). We had an ant issue which the girl at reception said would be sorted (it never was). Bins were overflowing.

16-amp powered grass site

Liked Lovely site, plenty of safe space for kids to play, good size pitches, farm is 🤩, kids loved egg collecting, brushing the bunnies and horses and meeting all the animals. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pay for one entry to farm and visit for the entire stay. Great value for money.
Breakfast for KINGS

Disliked Ants - not farms fault, super hot season and hard to control

Shower temps a little cool, could do with turning up maybe a few degrees but was sufficient.

Signal poor as middle of no where, could do with WiFi on campsite

Local attractions

Attractions don’t really come much closer than having a farm park right next door… and Easton Farm Park’s a well-established one with a café, a giant jumping pillow, an indoor soft play area and a green trail that’s great for spotting some of the nature around the 30-acre site. Plus, of course, there’s a friendly bunch of horses, sheep, pigs, cows, goats and chickens to make pals with. If there’s one thing that might tempt the tiddlers away from the farm’s charms, it’s surely a trip to the beach – it’ll take about half an hour to drive over to the Suffolk coast for fish and chips on the beach in Aldeburgh, or to paddle boats on the lake at Thorpeness Meare. Suffolk’s so heavily tied up with farming history that it’s even got its own breed of horse, which you can admire over at the Suffolk Punch Trust in Woodbridge (15 minutes’ drive). While you’re over there, have a stroll around the smart pile at Sutton Hoo and play with the interactive exhibits at the Tide Mill museum.
