Liked: Everything is set out just right. A small hedge between pitches gives a sense of seclusion, yet the site still has an open plan friendly feel about it. Well sited for a short walk to the National Trust Sutton Hoo site, with its visitor centre & dog-friendly walks. A 1.6 mile walk along the River Deben to the Deben Cafe Bar on the former HMS Vale patrol boat in Melton Boat Yard. Nice clean shower / toilet block. The site is well maintained with a largr dog walking field. A bus stop at the end of the road with a service to Woodbridge & Ipswich. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay & will definitely be returning in 2025

Liked: Location to Sutton Hoo and various other places of interest. Clean toilets/showers, large pitches, dog walking field, fridge freezer for ice packs, wifi (although weak at our end of the site)
Disliked: Road noise (not to be helped) and unfortunately we were unlucky with some really inconsiderate guests - one night the music and chatting (shouting) went on until almost 1am! There was an 18th party going on, and although loud, they stopped making noise at 11pm, the older guests however. I didn't see the owner until the day we left, so no one to complain to.

From the manager: I am sorry that your stay was disturbed by loud guests. We do ask that everyone respects fellow campers and did come out to check on the 18 year olds, who did respectfully quieten down at 10 p.m. Neither my husband nor myself was aware of any other noise, but if we had been made aware we would have dealt with it promptly. We do visit each pitch as often as we can, but unfortunately, I didn't find you in each time I called. Our telephone numbers are displayed on the notice board so guests can contact us if needed. Once again sorry you were disturbed.
A simple site, but very far from basic! Everything in good order.

Liked: Spacious, quiet site. Good shower/toilet block. Electric & water on pitch. Great for my one night stopover, but would also be great for a longer stay. Right by Sutton Hoo, and a good cycle into Woodbridge.

Liked: Everything! The site is super easy to find, flat and the pitches are very spacious with little hedge dividers. Loved having drinking water next to each pitch and electric. Facilities all good and clean and nice to use. Dogs loved it. Great location, very central. Will be back next year 😊
Disliked: Midges lol! Take a good repellant!

Liked: Great location, really close to Sutton Hoo National Trust site and Woodbridge. Pitches were also nice and big, with hedges between which helped with privacy.
Disliked: There weren't many toilets/showers and they could have been a little cleaner (eg toilet paper on the floor of the toilets and cobwebs in shower). WiFi didn't work at our pitch, but could live without that!
