Unpowered grass and earth tent site
Liked: Peace, tranquility, space - lovely welcome from the owner and just allowed to get on with it. Closest to wild camping with benefit of a tap for fresh water and a compost loo if required. Help yourself to fire pits and just camp!
Disliked: The logs provided were too wet to burn but they were free so can’t complain.

Liked: Proper rural camping, decent toilet which was a luxury. Owner is super friendly and helping. Really enjoy our stay.
Disliked: No negatives what do ever. You get more than what you pay for. The fire wood being chopped for you and he provided fire lighters which was a great touch.

Unpowered grass and earth tent site
Liked: The setting, lots of nature very peaceful and immersive. Easy access, walk from station is not bad. Site felt very wild! No cars near the tents was really nice. Plenty of firewood and space between tents.
Disliked: No shower and water was in corner of campsite. Loo had no hand sanitiser.

Unpowered grass and earth tent site
Liked: As close to wild camping as you can get except you are on a site. We loved this campsite as it only has 6 pitches all with fire pits and surrounded by some small lakes and a woodland area. If you like star gazing at night with a campfire and want to enjoy the beautiful Norfolk countryside, then this is the place for you. This campsite only has one compost toilet and a cold water tap so after a couple of days you may feel the need to find somewhere else with more facilities but well worth a night or two.
Disliked: The cold water tap would have been better placed by the toilet rather than at the other end of the field.

Liked: Excellent, the closest experience to wild camping. Lovely campsite with basic facilities which is what I like. The lakes, little forest, so quiet, beautiful, firepits...what else do you need? one of the best campsite I have ever been at. Thank you.

Liked: The are was full of animals and pitching next to the lakes made it feel like wild camping. The access to wood was very good so making a fire under the stars was a lovely experience.
Disliked: Getting to the area wasn’t easy if you don’t have a 4x4 go very slow getting to the grass car park. Once we found the area it wasn’t clear what areas we could pitch at, no one was the to give us direction and introduce you to the site and themselves.
