  • Well-maintained flat pitches at a Norfolk Broads farm site
  • A 10-minute drive to the nearest beach; 15 minutes to Great Yarmouth
  • Free-range eggs and local honey for sale; meet the animals on the farm
Head to Huggle Farm for a quiet rural Norfolk stay in a well-maintained field that’s both within The Broads National Park and about six miles from the county’s lovely coastline. Pitches here are pleasingly flat and spacious, with only a handful of guests on site at any time. It’s a fairly simple setup here, but one that’s got access to a portable toilet and a shingle off-road parking area next to the camping field (no getting stuck in the mud here, thanks very much…) It’s all part of a working farm where you can wake up to the true sights and sounds of the countryside, and get a real taste of your surroundings by buying free-range eggs and local honey on site for a tasty breakfast. Pigs, alpacas, sheep and a donkey are among the animals that live here – give them a wave as you wander past, or have a chat with the team on site to arrange a time when you can get up close for a proper meeting. When not feasting on fresh eggs, you may like to head out for a meal and a drink in one of the local pubs (there are a couple within a few minutes’ drive in the villages of Potter Heigham and Martham) or pick up local berries, cheese and other picnic bits at the farm shop a few minutes’ walk away.

Liked: We love everything about Huggle Farm! This is our third year staying here and we will be back next year without a doubt. The owners are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble, and my daughter can't get enough of the animals.

Liked: Really friendly welcome. A relaxed rural setting, with a beautiful sunset from the field where we were pitched. I love that you enable those with a disability to look after the animals - what a fantastic work you do! I'd love to stay here again.

Liked: The animals, the clean portaloos, the surroundings, the friendliness and again animals!!!! It was such a fantastic stay. And the owners so friendly and wonderful! We have spent 2 nights at Huggle farm. The owners have saved me and helped to get my car fixed so I could get back home. Such an incredible act of kindness have turned a sad experience into an adventure. Toilets were clean and paper always there. Also a great distance to beautiful beached and not far to busy great Yarmouth if you want a fun day with the kids. Kids would love the animals that you can come and Interact with. Oh and you can make some fresh free range eggs for breakfast that you can get from the owners. I would 1000% recommend Huggle farm 💕

Liked: We liked Absolutely everything about this site. Judith and Paul the owners were so welcoming and helpful, had so much time for everyone and talking to us about the animals. Came round the site and spoke to everyone on random occasions. We all had the best time and met some lovely fellow campers! We traveled 3.5hours with our 9 year old and 2 year old. We Will most definitely be back.

Disliked: Can't fault the site or staff but if going for a week, shower block would be good.
