A peaceful, tidy campsite with stunning river views and wildlife. Praised for friendly staff, clean facilities, and good value. Mostly quiet, but some road noise noted. Spacious, neat pitches. Great for a relaxing waterside escape.

Power optional grass caravan site
Liked What a lovely little site, we're new to touring and everything about the site made it fool proof for beginners like us, easy access from the road, clear signage, lovely and flat pitches, and top it off off directly river side too, friendly staff (Kev managed to squeeze us an extra night). Facilities were decent enough, no complaints, will be booking again!

Liked Close proximity to the river. Good facilities. Good for dogs. Good WiFi. Friendly ambience.
Disliked Major road nearby with incessant noise. Would prevent from rebooking. Bins overflowing and bins in ladies toilet full also.

Liked Everything, could not fault this site.
Stayed on pitch 5 close to the River bank. Could not believe how clear the water was.
Kevin the manager very friendly and helpful.
See an earlier post regarding showers etc but we found no issues.
Shop in the Murco garage opposite tge Entrance.
Had a nice walk into the local villiage of stoke ferry where the locals were nice. There's a shop like Arkwrights where you can get anything you prob need ie plumbing bits, batteries, etc etc.
We stopped in the local pub called the Bull just for a coffee , lots of different walking routes.
Def be back.

Liked Small site, friendly campers and staff. No fuss entering or leaving. Easy to get to, lovely by the river.
Pub about 1 mile away was great, nice food and having the garage and shop across the road was very handy. Very dog friendly and plenty of poo bins.
Disliked Noise from the road was quite bad, the facilities were basic and could do with refresh.

Liked Lovely waterside pitch, paddle boarded straight from the van. Facilities are average but good considering the pitch cost.
Disliked Road noise wasn't to bad over weekend but was quite annoying during work days.

Power optional grass caravan site
Liked Riverside location. Great hosts. Decent wash facilities. Shop right opposite site entrance. Clean and tidy pitches which are massive - enough room to pitch side on in a twin axle caravan in some cases. Great WiFi.
Seriously, this little site has a great vibe and feel to it. We had actually planned to do a little bit of touring across Norfolk this week - we came here Saturday with a plan to stay two nights. We were that impressed with the site we spoke to Kevin and he managed to find us a slot to spend our entire week here.
Access to the site is fantastic with good links to the A11 and other major routes. We are hauling a twin axle caravan and had no issues getting to the site.
Use it as a base to go exploring or recharge your batteries by the river taking in the scenery and wildlife.
Safe to say this will be somewhere we will visit again.
