Rabbit's Grove fully-serviced concrete slab site
Liked Beautiful pitch’s lots of room nice tranquil site, friendly staff
Disliked Disappointed Not being able to eat on Friday and Saturday night as it was apparently fully booked especially when we booked on the Thursday and got told no need to bother!!
We enjoyed the sun shine out side on the decking with a couple of pint then to get told that we can’t eat that night and was told to go and find something local isn’t great when you have have beer or two, so unfortunately took the shine of the stay a little..

Rabbit's Grove fully-serviced concrete slab site
Liked Lovely quiet pitch. Excellent restaurant and nice clean toilets and showers. Amazing little mini golf (not that we played, but it looked great).
Disliked Maybe a few extra bits in the ‘shop’.

Disliked sanitair was niet slecht maar een update kan geen kwaad voor die prijs.

Great well maintained site, friendly staff and generous flat pitches.
Old Orchard fully-serviced concrete slab site
Liked Really well maintained site, helpful staff and generous pitches, especially in the Old Orchard area, which we loved.
Disliked Not being allowed to take our dog anywhere other than the outside terrace of Basecamp. We managed to work around this as the weather was good, but on a cool wet day we just wouldn’t have wanted to eat or drink there

Overall a fantastic site, a big site with small site feel.
The Heath fully-serviced concrete slab site
Liked Generally a great campsite, especially if you book onto one of the smaller more secluded areas. Great for wildlife and bird spotting. Lovely family feel. Very helpful staff even in the extreme heat.
Disliked Toilet blocks were a dated, games room is cash only

The campsite is very well planned…
Rabbit's Grove fully-serviced concrete slab site
Liked The campsite is very well planned out with plenty of activities for the whole family. Lots of nice open spaces as well as tall trees for shade. We stayed at rabbits grove and the pitch size was big enough for our T25 campervan with large awning plus room for an extra car if you bring one. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was fairly well stocked and the food menu was comprehensive given it was a campsite! They do takeaway pizzas, which we didn’t get to try but they did look delicious! There was sitting outside with parasols and water bowls for your furry friends. Plenty of showers and toilets and well maintained. We stayed for 2 nights but could easily have stayed longer! Loads of geraniums and the grounds were well kept. Would definitely recommend.

Nice spot, friendly staff and good amenities.
The Meadow fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site
Liked The site is nice, well kept and staff pleasant. I liked the pitch with its layout and hedges between each plot. Waste, recycling and Elsan point all easy to access and kept tidy. The Basecamp building was nice, it had a good selection of drinks at the bar, food was nice and it was a nice area to relax and eat.
Disliked There’s not much to dislike here, only a couple of niggles. Firstly the male showers, they are basically fine but the sinks are small and the pressure of the water coming out of the tap sometimes sprays out of the sink splashing everywhere. Most importantly they need a good clean or a bit of maintenance as there is black mould appearing on most of the seals and this is off putting. The only other thing is the cleaning of the showers ,I don’t think guests are cleaning/ mopping after they have showered or used the facility, maybe they think they don’t have to but you should leave them how you’d expect to find them, it’s not just down to the cleaning staff and the cleanliness is a bit lacking.
Oh and on the pitch , pigeons, lots of pigeons. Now I like a bit of wildlife but these are excessive, jumping all over the motorhome , constantly coming out of the hedges and doing flyby near misses. The noise they make throughout the day and night is intrusive and early in the morning they decide to have a party on the motorhome roof. The pigeons didn’t spoil our stay it’s just note that if you don’t like pigeons this may not be a destination for you.
