  • Dog-friendly site on a privately-owned nature reserve
  • A 40-minute drive from Sandringham Estate; walk to the local pubs
  • One-mile woodland walk and railway carriage tea room on site
Setting up base on a nature reserve is very much on the horizon at Manor Farm… and what else? Well, on a privately-owned nature reserve in Cambridgeshire, this stunning spot is also half an hour’s drive away from the market town of King’s Lynn and 40 minutes from the historic Sandringham Estate. First, set off on the woodland walk on site, which is just over a mile long. Set in three woodlands and with open grassy spaces galore, the site is just stunning. One of guests’ favourite spots, of course, will be the 1886 railway carriage tea room on site, which serves freshly baked and cooked real food, all homemade – tea, cake, a full afternoon tea or Sunday lunch, you decide. The site’s dog-friendly too, and a dog exercise field is available for hourly hire should you want to use it. For the kids, just potter over to the kids’ play area. Relaxing and unplugging is easy all around, what with the pretty scenery. Keen anglers can take a 35-minute walk to the local fishing lakes. For those who are more invested in hunting down a local pub for a drink or two, there’s one just next door and another half an hour’s walk away – handy, indeed. The site also has toilet and shower facilities.

Liked Lovely quiet site

Disliked Ladies shower not working on first 2 days.
Water tap not easily accessible to fill a tank in a van, could be easily repositioned near roadway on toilet block.
No grey dump
No dedicated toilet disposal point, easily sorted next to toilet block
Tea room closed.

Simple things could make it so much better

Unpowered grass motorhome site

Liked Great little back to basic campsite in amongst nature.
Lovely walks around the site through woodland areas created by the owner.
Big spacious pitches, nicely spaced out. Heated toilet and shower area basic no frills.
Very quiet and peaceful.
Friendly owner.
I liked there was no WiFi/phone signal was really able to switch off.

Disliked Nothing, although toilets and showers need a little attention before the busy season as only one available when I visited, but it was right at the beginning of the season and the owner was only just opening up, cutting grass etc ....
