Liked: We visited for a two night stay in April with my sister and her children so there were 10 of us in total. We absolutely loved staying here. The children loved stroking the donkeys and llamas and seeing the sheep, horses, pigs, chickens, emu like bird (I can't remember the actual type). The owner allowed us to feed a couple of the animals with a carrot or two which the children again loved. The field is well kept and the wood fired hot tub provides fun and laughter with getting someone to stoke you up and stir your water as well as a lovely relaxing moment with a glass of wine. The toilets were well looked after with loo roll and soap etc. It's great getting away without wifi, but did appreciate the fridge and freezer in the shower block to keep our food in and charge our mobiles. Everything is provided so you only need to take food, clothes and gas for the camping stove or charcoal/logs for the BBQ. The firepit is a lovely feature allowing you to have a campfire and all sit round with a hot chocolate. Great feel to the place and will definitely return. This is not a 5 star luxury hotel, it's a mongolian yurt in a field with no electricity, with everything you need for a fantastic break. If you are expecting everything to be shiny and new and perfect then this is not for you. If you want to get back to nature in real comfort then this may be for you. The owners are lovely - but avoid boris the cockeral ;-)

Liked: Chris was very welcoming and was on hand for anything we need. The set up is great on a farm. The Yurt is super cute with literally everything you need. We used the new hot tub which was great as the weather wasn't great during our stay so great when it's abit nippy. We visited Kinver Edge about 15 minutes away which is a great National Trust park.
Disliked: Not so much anything we disliked but the older hot tub didn't work, after hours of trying we couldn't get the water hot and it kept leaking but we managed to use the newer one so all fine. The beds are super hard in the Yurt but lots of blankets which we used so no problems at all.

Liked: I loved the look of where we stayed, the road to get there is bumpy. We were shown where things are and saw large eggs…I love the idea of outdoor wood fired sauna, we went there one really cold evening and it would be nice if it’s hot and not so cold outside. We had a nice time…
Disliked: Cold, the ground was hard to walk on as it rained a lot, slimy, some outdoor wood was slippery and the floor smelled like alcohol and dirty under a big bed( use light to check) The water was cold and no lockers on toilet or shower…
