Liked: For us, a mature couple, who live in france, this was home from home. Motorhome separate from tents & general camping. Beautiful area & a lovely welcome on arrival. Facilities adequate. Pub meals absolutely superb. Far enough from the road, so as not to hear it and situated between 2 small villages & all its sounds & smells of the countryside. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who wishes to getaway from it all.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Liked: Staff were friendly, dog friendly, food was nice.
Disliked: Next to main road, really close to the pub so the loud events at the weekend kept us awake. It's not a little quiet camp site if that's what you're looking for. Toilet block a bit run down, wobbly toilet seats 🙈 Good for a weekend stop, but not for a week relaxing camp, too noisy.

Liked: Spacious pitch with electric hook up. Close to the car park. Play area for kids and lots of room for them to run around and play. Pub was really nice great food, reasonable prices. John the owner of the pub / site was very nice. Would definitely stay again. Alton Towers only 15 to 20 minutes away.
