What customers say
Family-run site, relaxed vibe, spacious pitches, great views, peaceful. Owners friendly & accommodating. Animals popular with kids. Handy for Alton Towers & pubs. Toilets basic but clean. Showers would be good for longer stays. Better signage needed.

Unpowered grass and earth motorhome site
Liked Second time staying here and was happy that the first time wasn't just a one off.
Whilst it was considerably busier this time - was still ideal for what I needed.
Disliked With the number of people staying this weekend - more toilets would be beneficial- especially when there are so many children on site

Liked Great location, and view with plenty of space on the the pitch. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Pub next door did great food and hetty's tea shop which is a 15 minute walk away is a must followed by a walk along the canal.

Unpowered grass and earth motorhome site
Liked This is a very well-maintained site. The pitch sizes are spacious, well-kept and overlook a beautiful view. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Although there is no shower, the toilet block is very clean and easily accessible to everyone.
There are some toys available for children to play with and plenty of space to run around. There are also some animals for the children to see.
Perfect for a short stay and excellent value for money.

Unpowered grass and earth motorhome site
Liked Lovely little site. The host was extremely welcoming. Not too many pitched but the area was big enough that people weren't crammed in. Would definitely return.
Logs available to purchase for firepit - (I didn't use ours on this occasion)
Disliked Was only here the 1 night - so nothing to dislike

Unpowered grass and earth motorhome site
Liked Lovely location. It was quite remote and really picturesque.
There was a pub very close to the site, which looked lovely but we didn't get chance to try.
About 15 minutes from Alton Towers.
