Liked Lovely owner and kids loved having access to the forest school. There was an event on when we were there but noise was minimal and we wouldn't have known other than seeing some of the activities.

Peaceful pitch, well-run campsite!
Squirrel's Hideaway unpowered grass and earth tent site (adults only, secluded)
Liked The pitch (squirrel's hideaway) did indeed feel secluded and peaceful. It was lovely to be on a campsite created by people who clearly love camping, and know what makes a good camping experience (e.g. a table, bbq, fire pit and box of logs come with the pitch; having enough space to yourself, whilst feeling in connection with others; good washing up area, and some spare pots in case you need them; clean loos). As a bonus, the squirrel's hideaway did indeed come with plenty of squirrels! :-)
