  • Peaceful park with fishing on the banks of the River Teme
  • A 10-minute drive from Ludlow and 30 from Hereford
  • Haven for hikers and birdwatchers; dog friendly; fishing for a fee
Make yourself comfortable at Westbrook Farm Park, a family-friendly site in Little Hereford, a 10-minute drive from the foodie town of Ludlow in Shropshire. This pretty site is on the banks of the Teme River, and is well placed for waterside explorations: there's over half a mile of river for fishing (an additional fee is required), waterside walks (with or without canine companions) and idle times on the site seating or around the picnic tables. Keep your eyes peeled too to spot the birds that flit all around; ducks, herons and kingfishers all have their homes here. Venturing into the surroundings, there are hikes, bike rides and horse riding canters to tackle: the site is 15 minutes from the Grafton Farm Equestrian Centre and walking and cycling trails in the Mortimer Forest, and 20 minutes form Wheely Wonderful Cycling, 20 minutes away. If none of this appeals, an information hut next to reception is full of suggestions for places to see and places to eat and drink nearby... send the kids to the playground, and settle down with a cup of tea or coffee while you consider your options.

What customers say

Westbrook Farm Park gets top marks for spotlessly clean facilities, spacious pitches, and a tranquil riverside vibe. Guests rave about the friendly staff, good security, and great play area. Most have a faultless stay, though Wi-Fi can be spotty and shops are a bit of a trek.

Fully-serviced gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked Fantastic site! Really well set up for people with physical disabilities. Super clean, brilliant access to the river and lovely dog walk area. Beautiful spot for star gazing on a clear night. Great park and area for children, laundry and washing up room. Warm bathrooms/shower area. Everywhere was pristine . Really helpful staff.

Disliked Be aware that some of the regulars do let their dog off the lead which seems to be a regular thing day and night both around the site and around the pitches. Not so much of an issue for us as our dog is super friendly but was a bit intimidating for the children walking to and from the toilet in the evening when large dog approaches.
This isn’t a reflection on the owners who were great and I take full responsibility for not raising it when we were staying, felt a bit awkward as it was only us and the dog owners on the row and so didn’t want to cause an issue.

Wouldn’t stop us retuning at all but maybe something to be noted if you are scared of dogs.

From the manager: Thank you for your review we are pleased you enjoyed the stay and the nighttime star gazing.
Im sorry the other guest dog was an issue. Dogs should be on a lead and under control at all times. There is a lovely dog walk at the riverside where dogs can be off lead so no need to let them off lead on the park . Maybe the other owners will read this and be aware for other visits .

Lovely peaceful site with amazing amenities. Great walks for the dogs

Fully-serviced concrete and grass caravan site

Liked Large and level pitches, different layouts to suit motorhomes / caravans which is an excellent idea! Loads of hard standing, with plenty of grass area. Such a peaceful site, lovely to wake up to the sheep bleating nearby and the birds tweeting away. Some lovely walks for the dogs along the river, with a specific dog lead free in an enclosed area. Lots of public footpaths to discover! Shower and toilet block was immaculate and a really good size. Constant water, with no push button to worry about! TV signal is poor but the owners have provided a freesat dish for each pitch, and for a returnable deposit you can borrow a freesat box - feels like every possible issue has been resolved to make your stay 100% enjoyable. Unique drainage system on each pitch, so no need for lots of pipes etc - water supplied to each pitch at a great water pressure. Free Wi-Fi which worked with no issues on all our devices. We loved it and can’t wait to come again!

Fully-serviced gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked We enjoyed a lovely late autumn stay at Westbrook, peaceful site, nice pitches with easy caravan waste drainage on the serviced pitch, no need for long pipes/fittings. Friendly owner and staff welcoming and helpful. A nice touch is the free tv satellite box available (for a refundable deposit) as the tv reception is poor, each pitch has its own satellite dish. The free site wifi is excellent. Also liked the anpr camera at the site entrance barrier no need for tapping into a keypad with a number or using a key fob like on most club campsites. Looking forward to returning in the spring, the apple orchards surrounding the site will look lovely when the blossom is out !

Disliked Nothing to dislike.
