  • Award-winning site on an Oxfordshire farm 10 mins' drive from Banbury
  • Blenheim Palace and Warwick Castle within a 40-minute drive
  • Friendly owners on hand to offer local advice; dogs welcome
‘Whatever you wish to do, we’ll try our best to help you achieve it,’ say the folk that run Anita's Touring Caravan Park – and that’s a generous offer indeed, as it’s quite likely the plethora of options around here for outings and activities may leave some guests feeling a little bewildered… This well-maintained award-winning site site is part of an Oxfordshire farm that’s very well located for all sorts of activities, whether you fancy gentle days of walking and cycling along local lanes or ticking off big attractions like Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace and the British Motor Museum. You’ll also be able to add places like Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon to your list of places to go, and venture into the Cotswolds for scenic walks and visits to gorgeous towns and villages. Essentially, whatever you’ve got in mind, the friendly team here will help you out with leaflets, maps and suggestions – including ideas for places to eat and a few local spots you may not have thought of. As well as providing a welcoming atmosphere and heaps of useful advice, the owners have also set up lots of handy amenities for guests, including a well-stocked shop, picnic tables and a couple of covered eating areas to make mealtimes nice and easy. There’s also a dog park, a chemical disposal point and a smart fully tiled toilet block that’s kept clean at all times and has accessible facilities.

Liked Staff were friendly, clean facilities (when you had a chance to use them)

Disliked Rowdy noisy groups, road noise, not enough toilets (the rowdy people in the caravans using the toilets instead of their own)
We’d would have had more peace pitching our tent in the mosh pit at Glastonbury.
It’s a lovely area with lots of potential the layout is all wrong.

Liked Lovely site, very friendly and helpful staff. Pitch was large, facilities were spotlessly clean. We stayed for 2 nights, quiet at night and really only road noise which didn’t bother us. Would definitely stay again. We walked from the site to a number of lovely villages, canal, cafe. The newborn foals were gorgeous.

Disliked Proximity to a road so occasional noise but didn’t bother us.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay, especially the spacious pitch, clean facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere at night.
It’s great that you were able to explore the surrounding villages and canal — and we agree, the foals are a real highlight this time of year!
We appreciate your understanding regarding the nearby road, and we’re glad it didn’t impact your visit too much. We truly hope to welcome you back again soon
