Liked: First visit . Friendly , nice small site next to the pub which was great but lovely and quiet at night too . We stayed two nights and slept so well. No need to use the car at all once we were there which was lovely. Clean and tidy site . Everyone so helpful. Nothing too much bother . Can arrive and leave at a time to suit you which was a bonus on a gorgeous sunny day . We will be going back again . Lovely walk right along the river nearby .

Liked: I liked everything about this site. We came as a couple for the bank holiday weekend and I loved it so much I stayed an extra week on my own whilst the husband went back to work, it felt safe and secure. It’s pure peace and tranquillity and the best site I’ve ever stayed! Ralph, the site manager is amazing, so helpful and friendly, he checked in with me every day to see that everything was ok, he gave me advice about the local area and where to go. The Sean pub is also great, friendly staff and great food! I will be a regular here that’s for sure!
Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Liked: Clean site with easy access Showers and toilets kept clean The site warden couldn't do enough to help he was always there for you for anything you needed . The pub just outside the gate was really good with lovely food (not expensive) and a warm welcome and the added bonus of been dog friendly with a massive beer garden would recommend for a quiet week or a long weekend . There's also a fishing pond onsite that's free to use if your on there looks well looked after and apparently good to fish Adults only site
Disliked: Possibly needs an extra shower in the mens and womens but did not affect our stay. No WiFi but we take our own so again didn't affect it for us

Liked: Resident caretaker was on call to greet us on arrival. The conditions were very muddy due to weeks of rain. The toilet/shower block was kept vey clean [ must have cleaned numerous times during the day]. Steps had been taken to flatten muddy grass and to relevel granite chippings.
Disliked: Ares did look scrapy, they were extending their lodge areas but it should be left looking better for the visters.
