Liked: Excellent site, lady who checked us in was lovely, friendly and very helpful. Bar staff also very nice and friendly. Toilet block very clean and spacious, separate units with toilet, shower and sink basin so very private. Site15 minutes walk to Retford with shops. Pubs etc.

Liked: The lakes.
Disliked: Very noisey until 2am & dogs running around with no leads on. The site rules state no noise after 11pm & dogs must be on a lead but nothing was done to resolve these problems. Also had alot of travellers staying here.

Liked: The site was lovely with beautiful. Spacious pitches with room for the car to park next to. We went into the cafe which was dog friendly another bonus. We gad a breakfast which was very nice and a very good portion. Toilet blocks were clean and were individual cubicles which included a shower. Just round the corner from the town centre. On arrival we were given an information pack with local places to visit and a list of restaurants. I would definitely visit again.

Liked: Didn't go due to complete miscommunication on their behalf.
Disliked: Communication was terrible, needed to be with family coming in another camper, I don't think they read the multiple emails I sent which I found very frustrating having to to try and get placed together, so, ended not going at all.

Liked: The place was beautiful and really clean
Disliked: The owner Andy James was extremely rude and when he approached us to ask if we had paid for fishing day tickets he was very abrupt, rude and obnoxious. We had paid and I showed him by bank transaction as his colleague didn’t give us a ticket. He even rang his colleague at 8pm to check we were telling the truth!! I meant I get that people probably try and get away with paying but we were instantly tarnished with the same brush. After asking him why he was being so rude, he told us to enjoy the rest of our weekend and to do him a favour and never come back
