  • Laidback pop-up site on a coastal Lincolnshire farm
  • 10 minutes’ walk to sandy beaches; 10 miles from Skegness
  • Family- and dog-friendly site with plenty of space to run around
Wake up a short wander from the Lincolnshire coast with a stay at Creekside Family Camping in Anderby. This site is 10 minutes’ walk from the beach at Anderby Creek and about 20 minutes’ walk from Wolla Bank, with the added bonus of being surrounded by the wildlife haven of the Lincolnshire Coastal Country Park. The family has farmed this land for three generations and are happy to share insider tips on where to go and what to do when you visit. If it's traditional seaside shenanigans you're after – fairgrounds, arcades, donkey rides and all the rest – Ingoldmells and Skegness are along the coast within about 20 minutes’ drive. Roll up at this relaxed site and chose your own pitch on the meadow, surrounded by mature hedges and trees. It’s family and dog-friendly with plenty of space to run around and play with a separate field for ball games. If you need provisions or fancy an easy bite to eat, there’s a bar and restaurant, café and general store by the beach at Anderby Creek. Firepits, wood and kindling are available on site and you’re welcome to set up a small campfire so you can gather round, sit back and enjoy the huge Lincolnshire skies. The stars at night are usually quite something, and there's only minimal interference from the fairy lights around the place (a torch is a handy thing to have though…). This may be a pop-up site but it's got the vibe of a glamping setup, all decked out with bunting and pretty decorations. Guests have access to proper ceramic flushing loos, a portable shower block with proper showers, drinking water points, a washing-up area, phone charging point, freezer for ice blocks and a dog wash.

What customers say

A top family spot! Loved for spacious, clean sites & great facilities (showers/toilets). Beach access is a bonus. Staff are friendly, dog-friendly too, with fire pits. Minor points: occasional noise/shower temp. Highly recommended, keen to return!

Liked Very lovely site! Very quiet and a short walking distance to the beach. Washing up and sponge provided, clean toilets, sand in the showers but other people weren't cleaning after themselves. Cleaners were nice when i chatted to them in the mornings. Quiet pop up bar serving drinks in the evening. Would have been nice for the waffle wagon to have been open for campers staying Mondays or Tuesdays. Easy self check in. Perfect for me and my 2 kids. Goats and cows were really cute! Wood available to buy for fires in the evenings. Games were broken but again can't blame the site, obviously campers have dumped them once their kids have wrecked them so bring your own board games if you like that. Lovely being able to use firepits. There is a local shop which stocked the basics but bring your own bbq foods as they didn't really sell them near by. We will be coming back anyway, lovely site! Nice for seeing the stars in the evenings too.

Disliked Other campers being shouty after a few bevvies. Nothing wrong with the site though!

Liked Great site, 10-15 mins walk to the beach. Visited as a couple with 2 teenage boys and 2 dogs. We had a numbered pitch with EHU and had loads of space (pick your own pitch field looked a little more "cozy").
Self check in which worked really well, with named envelopes on a PEG board. Great toilets, though my shower was cold. Hot Food sold each morning we were there, and we made good use of the laundry facilities. My favourite bit was the large secure dog field. It was big, with mown grass and a longer patch in the middle for your pooch to ferret around in. Plus a huge tray of dog toys to mess around with. Just a really lovely stay, thank you x

Liked A very well kept camp site, mowed with gravel tracks so even though it rained there was no mud. Quiet with spacious pitches.
Back of campsite is a huge dog paddock plus a public footpath though the fields which was lovely. Goats and cows to see on site as a working farm. Easy ten minute walk down to anderby creek, dog friendly beach and cafe.

Disliked I took no board games as it said there was a hut with games but unfortunately everything was either damaged or missing pcs which isn’t the farms fault. It was a shame.

Local attractions

The wild sand dunes of Anderby Creek beach are a 10-minute stroll away. In the summer it splits into dog-free and dog-friendly areas, so there’s space for everyone. More beachy gems within 10 minutes’ drive include Huttoft, Wolla Bank, Marsh Yard, Chapel Six Marshes and Chapel Point. Holiday big-hitters Ingoldmells (10 minutes’ drive) and Skegness (20 minutes) are filled with all the attractions you’d expect from a traditional British seaside resort and have enough to keep the whole family happy whatever the weather. There’s more family fun to be had in Mablethorpe at Lincolnshire Aqua Park (20 minutes) with pedalos, paddleboarding, kayaks and a giant floating assault course for the more adventurous. Keen walkers should connect up with the Lincolnshire Coastal Path; a 20-mile walk from Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve in Skegness past the site to Mablethorpe. Birders will want to check out Anderby Coastal Grazing Marsh too (two minutes’ walk). And if the lure of the coast isn’t enough, there are also walking routes inland around the Lincolnshire Wolds and Hubbards Hills (30 minutes' drive).
