Winnie is a two bedroom static caravan situated in her own 1½ acre paddock in the beautiful Golden Valley of Herefordshire. She is completely self-contained and offers a lovely large comfy bed and,two singles. She has a very well-equipped kitchen that includes a fridge, four ring hob, oven, microwave, toaster and crockery etc. Bedding and towels are provided and Kate is happy to take your washing should you need it, or for you to rinse out and hang in the paddock. Children are free to roam the safe fenced in field and to pet the sheep and pick up the chickens, they are all very friendly and love being hand fed. Winnie also has Gas heating, a shower room and toilet. Sited in her own one and a half acre paddock, with stunning views across the Golden Valley towards the Black Mountains, Winnie provides a delightful place to relax and unwind, and explore the great outdoors in Herefordshire, Monmouthshire, Powys and beyond. If you have a larger, or extended family, we can provide you with a further four berth octagonal tent, so, why not bring nanny and grumpa and let them enjoy babysitting in this fantastic space!? Children are free to wander and roam the field, make dens, climb trees, bring their bikes and just enjoy being outside. Parents we supply a fire pit and outdoor furniture for you to enjoy the fabulous open skies in the evening, and, views of the Black mountains. Winnie is a haven of peace and tranquility, situated in a quiet, rural location with scenic views across the Golden Valley; an undeniably magical place, where you will find: . Wild, untamed countryside carved between two river valleys and the Black Mountains . High peaks, including the Cat's Back . Rolling hills and rural villages . Remote ruins and captivating churches . Atmospheric Neolithic burial stone Winnie is just a short drive from Hay on Wye, Hereford, Abergavenny, the breathtaking Brecon Beacons and Symons Yat (film location of Sex Education and Shadowlands). We are about a two-hour drive from Aberystwyth and the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline, and about an hour or so from Cardiff and Barry Island, home to ‘Gavin and Stacey.’ Places to visit and things to do nearby include Wales (a short drive away), Abergavenny, Monmouth, Hay on Wye, Cardiff, Barry Island, and Tenby. There’s also lots of fishing, lots of water sports, Brecon Beacons, Skirrid Inn - the list goes on and on!!! Winnie is perfect for a short relaxing break or a longer holiday away from it all. Guest Access There is private parking and an acre of land for the children to explore whilst you unpack and have a cuppa after your journey! Along with the paddock you also have access to our nearby woodland, where you are welcome to wild camp, build bonfires, climb trees and enjoy the wildlife (no extra charge, it’s all in).
