What customers say
Great campsite pub with top-notch grub. Spacious, level pitches & helpful staff. Pub atmosphere a hit! Toilets are basic & dated, but a new block's on its way!

Site close to Tewksbury with family friendly pub offering good food.
Power optional concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Hard standing pitches were level and reasonable size for caravan with car across front. Good to have metered elec for £3 or £5. We bought the later which lasted a good 4 days.
Disliked Existing shower/toilet block poor but owners have invested in a new block which should hopefully be ready in a few weeks.

Power optional concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Ease of booking and checking in, eagerly awaiting the new toilet block. Looks fab!
Pub very welcoming and food was amazing
Disliked We ran out of electricity in the night, first time using a site with prepaid electric and underestimated how much we needed, our fault but lesson learned

Liked Spacious pitches, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food in the pub was exceptional. A great place to unwind and switch off. Also appreciated that they are upgrading the shower and toilet facilities and the builders were sound also

Great little stay - it can be a bit boggy in the rain!
Power optional concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Hard standing pitches were spacious and close to the toilets and pub. And a really nice little campsite.
Disliked Showers weren’t great and in need of a bit of attention but did the job!

From the manager: Thanks for your review, i'm sure you noticed when booking that we dont advertise showers as a facility. we are hoping to open a new block very soon.
The new amenities block will lift this site a huge amount once open.

Liked Got a good welcome and check in was easy and quick. Level pitches and lovely pub. Nice and quiet through the night and handy for surrounding towns and attractions etc.. Electric is via prepaying, £3 and £5 options available, we had £5 and it ran out on the last night, we did use the electric heater a fair bit so not that surprised. It is a good base for exploring the area and I hope the owners can continue to update and improve the site.
Disliked The new amenities block is due to open shortly, good job it is needed as the old block is clapped out. That said the water was hot but on every other metric it is past its sell buy date, useable but not a pleasant experience. Drives potholed and some hardcore around the gate would perhaps avoid having to stand in a puddle to unlock the gate, (to be fair there had been a lot of rain maybe OK in lighter rain times but an easy improvement).

Great pitches and pub just need to get the new tools open.
Power optional concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Great hard standing pitches close to the pub. Pub has good food and a great atmosphere. Recommended.
Disliked The electric outlet was a long way from the pitch. We have a very long lead and needed all of it!
The toilets are not great but it’s clear new ones are being built. However the hot water tap in the gents got stuck on and wouldn’t go off. Tried to ring the contact number and got no response. Had to borrow tools from other campers and sort it ourselves.
Once the new toilets are open this won’t be an issue.
