What customers say
A popular, well-kept spot with roomy, private spots, many riverside. Guests rave about the excellent, spotless private bathrooms. Friendly staff and a great pub next door. Easy M5 access, lovely walks. Some mention slight road noise & patchy Wi-Fi.

Liked Easy stop off, very clean, well run, nice private bays and lovely pub. Couldn’t ask for more. On the doorstep to Slimbridge which was a fantastic day out.

Worth a stay
Powered grass site
Liked Well thought out site-good size grass pitch, with hedges giving privacy. The facilities met all our needs. Shower block excellent, with large shower rooms, and additional toilets, water, bins etc. further into the site. Quiet but friendly and nice walk along the river and into the woods. Also 2 mile walk to canal (worth the trek). Good food at the adjacent George Pub, friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely stop off on way to Cornwall.
Powered grass site
Liked Straight of M5 easy to find. Large pitches, clean facilities. Nice welcoming family running the site. Near a good pub which we had a drink and meal at. Nice walks all around. Close to M5 to see the sights in the area. Well kept grass and hedges cut. All areas are hedged into just a couple of pitches for privacy.
Disliked If you want to get off early you need to inform the team as the barriers need to be pulled back. Otherwise it is leaving between 9-11.You can leave earlier just need to let the team know. We left 8.30 as we could see the owners were up and about. No WiFi but had phone signal and pub had WiFi. Ok for me but heavy internet user would not be good.

I recommend the site, I don't recommend the pub.
Powered concrete slab caravan site (no awning)
Liked Stayed for 1 night. The campsite is lovely. Nice and secure and well maintained. Facilities are clean. Id stay there again, but... i would bring my own food as I wouldn't eat in the pub again.
Disliked The pub adjacent to the campsite is awful. Lots of locals were drunk and being nuisances! A fight broke out amongst some of them and the staff just asked them to take it outside which they ignored.
The food was awful. We chose the burger and chips and the fish and chips. Both terrible quality. I left most of my bland fish and chips and the staff never asked how it was.
