What customers say
A tranquil, scenic spot with a charming village. Friendly hosts, great facilities (communal fridge!). Good for kids. Rough track & hard to find (directions given). Potential for busy toilets/showers. Airshow noise can be a factor.

With the instruction video on google…
Unpowered grass and earth tent or motorhome site
Liked With the instruction video on google it wasn't hard to find the site. And the tree root on the way there could be easly managed. I loved the fact that there is a camp kitchen with some facilities for lightweight campers.
It was quiet (except for the airplanes) and the field offers shade for a change! It's in the Cotswolds, so an excellent location for touristst and the pub with good food is very closeby!
Disliked I wouldn't really call this a campsite. Its more like staying in the back of someones garden. Its not professional in that sense.
The facilities are not up to having more than a few campers on site. And everything seems under construction, not yet finished.
It was more expensive than other sites, but I couldn't see why.

From the manager: Thank you for writing. I am confused as you refer to the site as a field which is correct and also as a garden, which is not correct. It is a field separated from my own very large garden by a former canal. I am not sure what was under construction.. The kitchen is fully kitted out and includes a washing machine, all in the correct places.......

Great location in a pretty village…
Unpowered grass and earth tent or motorhome site
Liked Great location in a pretty village surrounded by countryside. Not a busy site. Great facilities but not enough showers/toilets if busier. Friendly. Very close to Fairford airbase, which is good for the air show and spotting planes take off, however very noisy!
Disliked Difficult to find. (In the Cotswolds so not allowed signage!) Beware of entrance track, rough and narrow. When arrived couldn’t find anyone to book in.

From the manager: Hi, I’m sorry that you couldn’t find us. We send out an email after you’ve booked with a full map showing where in the field you may park and pitch your tent. If you look on Google Maps, you will find us and also there is a video showing the entranceway. You are quite correct we cannot put up signage given we are in the Cotswolds, we allow everybody to pick their own camping soot spot. Applied to 2026 could if we get busy alter.
This is intended to be quiet family Camping and it is not a developed site although it has a well serviced kitchen and utility block with a hot shower and WCs We have managed to get Lorry down the track!
