Hunts Court Huts: Private patio outside Robin

General

  • Adults-only site in peaceful surroundings on a Gloucestershire farm
  • Cotswold Way a five-minute walk; a 15-minute drive to Berkeley Castle
  • Firepits available; café and shop 10 minutes' walk away in the village

The cute and cosy grounds at Hunts Court Huts are just the thing for peaceful adults-only breaks in the countryside. This working Gloucestershire farm is located close to many of the best parts of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so you stand a good chance of leaving refreshed and rejuvenated by all the surrounding nature.

As well as access to the farm's extensive grounds and its animals, guests here have a toilet and grey water disposal, as well as a three-acre garden to explore. The owners of the place actually live on site, so don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about what's best to do in the surrounding area.

If you do ever manage to drag yourself away from this little retreat, there are plenty of stately mansions in these parts of Gloucestershire, including Gatcombe Park and Badminton (both 25 minutes’ drive) or Berkeley Castle. Roman sites, art galleries and gorgeous gardens are all within reach for your leisurely days out too.

You can pick up bits from the shop in North Nibley (10 minutes’ walk) if you're planning a self-catering stay, and there are plenty of local pubs to choose from if you fancy a change of scenery in the evening.

Beautiful locating on peaceful working farm. Treated to a breathtaking sunset, on the second night, directly from our hot tub! Spacious hut that was found to be immaculately clean, and sufficiently stocked for our stay. Was great to park up the car and explore the local area on foot.

All round fantastic stay at Hunts Court Huts. The location enabled a really relaxing stay in the countryside with lovely views. The accommodation was of high quality and all of the little extras in were well thought out - especially the cookies on arrival!

I would highly recommend (we’re already looking at rebooking!). The perfect break to recharge.

We had a beautiful stay for my boyfriends birthday. Before the stay, I’d asked Debbie if we could add on breakfast the following morning, the bbq pack and a celebration package - she was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. When we arrived, we were greeted by Walter and then Debbie who took us to our pod. The pod was immaculate and we had homemade cookies waiting for us on arrival which were delicious and the celebration pack was a very decent bottle of Prosecco and a box of chocolates from Hotel Chocolat (which was more than I’d expected in this). There was an abundance of teas, coffees, biscuits and fresh milk available and the guest book was informative and helpful. We hopped straight in the hot tub and spent much of the evening in there and enjoyed a lovely bbq outside. We needed some more wood and kindling for the fire pit and Debbie very kindly brought this up for us. The bbq produce was plentiful and locally sourced and breakfast the following morning was hot when brought up us in the pod - absolutely delicious. There was nothing at all I could fault about our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed everything about it and hope to visit again in the warmer months. We’d watched Four in a Bed the morning after and did voted for our stay here and everything had a 10. They’ve really thought of everything and would recommend this to anybody! Thank you for looking after us, for being so kind and so helpful!

We were greeted in person to the site, and our cabin was immaculate. The surroundings are very peaceable with a great pub (we went to the Black Horse for dinner) a short walk away.
Parking was close to the cabin, which was sheltered from the elements while still providing a stunning view towards the Severn.
We also enjoyed seeing grazing animals in the next field, and some birds of prey in an aviary on site.
