What customers say
Great staff, spotless facilities (warm showers!), and a brilliant cafe. Pitches are usually spacious and level, perfect for local walks. A few grumbles about road noise, WiFi, and pitch issues in March, but managers are responsive.

Pine Tree camping pod (two person)
Liked The glamping pods are superb! Very
Comfortable. Thoughtfully kitted out. The fields for tents/campers/motorhomes have pitches well marked and spaced apart on well groomed lawn.
The shower and toilet blocks are absolutely 5 star!
The Washing Up room with 6 sinks and drainers was fantastic.
The onsite cafe served amazing food and the service was excellent.
Looking forward to returning next year!

Site was ok for an overnight stop.
Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked Our touring pitch was flat and easily accessible, booking onto site was very easy.
Cafe was great and reasonable value for money.
Easy accessible walks with our dog into the forest within a couple of minutes from the site.
Disliked Having to walk past the cafe to use the toilet or shower was embarrassing espacially when people were eating and drinking on the patio.

A stressful experience and not good for group bookings.
Powered grass site
Liked Good location and facilities.
Disliked We booked two months in advance and confirmed directly with the campsite twice that our group would be placed together. Upon arrival, we found our group had been split across 4 separate areas and 2 different fields.
When we raised this, the manager was hostile and defensive, kept changing their explanation (especially after denying certain conversations but we were able to show the email chain), and eventually told us "if you're not happy, you can leave." It was a stressful and upsetting start to our holiday and a very unprofessional way to deal with a mistake on their end.
Our only realistic option was to squeeze our tents onto 2 of the pitches so we could actually camp together. Sadly, management refused to offer any refund or compensation for the extra pitches we were unable to use.
I really a very stressful experience and we were upset with how we were treated as customers.

Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked Location and ease of pitching really good. Facilities clean and showers hot. Plenty of toilets and showers. Great to get hold of fire pit as we forgot ours. Town a short walk away which was handy for the pub and chippy.
Disliked Shame there was no on-site shop.
