Lovely little place. Rustic but with good amenities. Nice staff
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Seeing the animals was lovely and we were able to give them a good scratch and feed them some carrots we bought. (The pigs especially loved these. Power of the showers was fab and the little details on the taps were realy cute. Communal kitchen area is a great idea and really useful.
Disliked Access is a bit tricky. We got stuck in the mud on our way in but once we knew there was a different route in and along the drive, it was much simpler to gain access.
Toilet doors being wooden swell and make getting them closed properly a bit tricky. Could have also done with a bit more lighting outside the toilet area at night.

Lovely back to basics campsite with a few comforts
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Shower and toilets were much nicer than we expected. Lovely hot showers. The view was beautiful and the field we stayed in was quiet with only 1-2 tents. It’s fairly safe for the kids to roam around, we stayed with our 4 kids ranging 5-16 years and they all loved the site. Host were friendly and helpful.
Disliked Driveway up is a little bumpy, ensure your vehicle is prepared other than that there was nothing we disliked

Great local site, beautiful surroundings
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Nice easy check in, lovely surroundings. We are local to this place but feel like we have travelled far to get here. Really nice walk through the woods to get to local pub. The is a little kitchenette for people to use which looks very quirky and useful. We were pitched close by the goats which the children loved going over to look out. All in all are nice campsite
Disliked Maybe have another set of toilets the other end of the field, and more shower facilities for when it is busy. The que was very big in the morning

From the manager: Hi Ronan,
Thank you for taking time to leave your feedback, we are so glad you enjoyed the location, value for money, children friendliness and the cleanliness. Our team work very hard to ensure everyone has a lovely stay.
We are a working farm which will situate us on farm roads which we do include on the description of the Farm. I can see from you photo that you were not in the camping field but in the Alpaca Field where they have their barn.
I'm so sorry you did not receive the information you needed before your arrival, on your next visit, follow the track up and then turn left onto the main field where it is set up for camping.
This is such a lovely campsite with a really tranquil atmosphere.

Liked We’re local but decided on a last-minute stay to watch the recent meteor shower, and we’re so glad we did! This is such a lovely campsite — friendly owner, great facilities, and a really tranquil atmosphere. Even though it’s right on our doorstep, we’ll definitely be staying again. They were also wonderfully understanding when I made a mix-up with the booking, which we really appreciated.

Amazing that you had a chance to come along for the meteor shower, I do hope you had a chance to see a shooting star or two. I believe I caught three 💫
We have lots of big plans for next season so we really hope to see you again in the future and that you’ll get the opportunity to see all the changes that we’re excited to implement for next year.
All the best,
