Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked I wanted a campsite in the Amlwch area for walking sections of the Anglesey Coastal Path. Dulas Meadow is perfectly placed for coast walks (bus #62 stops at the bottom of the lane) and I am so glad I chose to stay. Above all it is a very welcoming site with perfect (non lumpy) grass for camping and well maintained with it. The facilities are also excellent and are spread out in small wooden huts, all of which are different shapes with some very interesting design flourishes such as the way the doors are secured and boutique style mirrors and so on. I spent 4-nights at Dulas Meadow and slept really well, so quiet and peaceful. The showers and loos are perfect, nice and clean and with bits provided so you can at least wash your hands without having to go back to the tent for soap! The wash-up area is also very good with a fridge and freezer for storing food, very handy if you are in a small tent. There are even food labels and a pen provided. That underlines my experience really as every consideration has been thought of. I must also give a shout out to Gregg the very nice owner and also the local pub 'The Pilot Boat' where the food is amazing and if you are a walker you'll love it as the portions are epic!
Disliked Close enough to perfect for me, thank you, Simon.
PS I'll be back at some point as have 2/3 or the coast path left to walk :)

From the manager: Hi Simon, what a lovely description of your stay at Dulas Meadow. Other campers will find this really helpful. We are proud of our award winning facilities and I am so pleased you have noticed all the little touches that we have added, there will be more next year. We are very appreciative of the time you have taken to write this. Alison and Gregg

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked I recently stayed for five nights and was impressed with Penwaun and its welcoming owners. A lovely spacious site & location; looking out toward the stunning north Pembrokeshire coastline. The facilities are simple but everything you need is present (filtered drinking water, toilet and shower). The location really is perfect if walking the northern section of coast path from Newport to Cardigan with circular walks easy to devise. Great to return from a days walk and relax with the sea view and a glass of wine! Have I mentioned the goats yet? They really are delightful friendly creatures and add greatly to the ambience of Penwaun. I found myself looking forward to returning at the end of each day just for their friendly greeting.
