Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Easy access to Leominster and main road. Pitches level and well spaced.
Disliked Only toilets (apart from a single portaloo) are in pub and locked when pub is closed.
Only one shower in pub just outside locked pub door. OK but dated.
The site has a number of permanent residents as far as I could see. Not a problem for us but others could not be happy.

From the manager: Just to correct you on a few points, the shower was refitted in 2020, I don't know how many people refit their bathrooms every 5 years but seems an excessive request to me that it's done more frequently than that, it's floored with tiles and has nice mermaid board to the walls, it's a good powered mains shower and it's 24 /7 access, is cleaned every day and it's FREE. (Please see pics folks and judge for yourselves). Not sure what type of shower would you like for the £12.50 per day you each paid. Just to clarify also that there are NO permanent residents on the site, it's not something we permit, and since you only stayed for 3 nights not even sure how you a. came to that conclusion or b. had any relevant information that could have led you to your incorrect conclusion. Hoping your next foray into camping leads you to somewhere wonderful with gold plated taps in the bathroom and no other visitors, so you might not mistake them for permanent residents. Also the amount of Portaloos we have on site varies depending on the number of people we have staying- and can be considerably more than one during busy periods. Obviously we didn't realise you wanted several each. I think you're expectations are probably better suited to larger commercial sites, who in turn charge larger commercial prices.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Size of pitch and distance between them. Very clean showers. Coded access at barrier. Really easy access to buses, park and ride and large supermarkets
Disliked Road noise is unavoidable on a site near a city but still feels like being rural.

Easy access to coastal bus route. Regular bus service.
Easy access to cycle route.
Nice bar next to site and very good pub nearby.
Nice safe site for kids. Good play areas.
Disliked Needs extra signage by play area to warn drivers to take care.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Roomy pitch. Flat and easy access.
Toilet and shower block much better than expected after reading other reviews. Just a long walk as the site is large.
Busy on weekend due to young watersports crowd but emptied on Sunday. Secure coded entrance with clear instructions.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Plenty of safe space in front of van for kids to play and mix with others.
Toilet/shower block well cleaned.
No shop, no temptations for kids.
Easy access from main road.
Disliked If you are a light sleeper then road noise could be an issue. Ask for a hard standing at the far end of the site if you want it a bit quieter.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Quiet. Roomy pitches. Good hot showers and waste disposal easy. Road access good if you follow their advice and don't get lost!
Disliked Sadly the end of season and so less attention was being paid to cleaning the toilets. Just needed a once over each day but I think staffing was low. Lack of phone signal but that's Norfolk I am afraid. They could consider a 3g4g phone signal booster for the site aswell as WiFi.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch (adults only)
Liked Quiet site. Friendly owners. Llansteffan is lovely. Free parking.
Disliked Should be aware that three level grass pitches at the back do not benefit from the lovely view. Only three available level pitches have the view. The rest are lower down on sloping grass pitches. Also be warned to drive through Llanstefan with caravan. Not from the other very narrow direction. It is tight through Llansteffan because of street parking if you have a big van.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Quiet site. Lovely pub next door with seating next to broads. Toilets and showers roomy and water good temperature.
Disliked Road access with caravan along lanes from Acle tricky. Narrow and bendy. Perhaps advice about best route could be sent in advance as I guess there might have been better roads if different route chosen.
