Dursley, Gloucestershire, England
Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked A very basic but decent campsite, ideal for an overnight stop. The toilets were clean, and there are bins and a water tap available. The ground is quite uneven.
The only downside is the price. It felt a little expensive for such basic facilities, so the overall value for money could be better.
It's conveniently located close to the road, making it easy to access for a quick stop, although there may be some traffic noise during the night.
The entrance is easy to miss, so drive slowly and keep an eye out for the turning.

From the manager: Regarding value for money, the pitches are offered for 24 hours and or a low density which gives campers larger than average spacing for spreading or playing games. Overnight parking does not take advantage. 'The ground is quite uneven may, inadvertently give a false impression of rough ground. It is regularly mowed with a ride on lawn mower giving a smooth finish. It is laid out in 'ridge and furrow' which seems to be the reference. This is a remnant to it's agricultural background and is designed to drain the land is th wet seasons. It was created some 300 years ago and still works. There is adequate level ground for tents or camper vans. Signage is low key and may need reviewing..
