Liked Beautiful site, next to a cliff and a river. Warm showers, well thought out facilities. Shirley was very helpful, her advice really improved our local experiences. Much prefer leaving the cars away from the campsite. We don't want to camp in a carpark. The Plough does some great grub, if you're flush. Walk recommended (boots). Firepits in the eve were ace.

Liked Ali & Giles have this uncanny knack when you first meet them of feeling like old friends. You could not hope for more gracious hosts, it was such a pleasure to be their guests. The site itself is amazing. Nestled within a beautiful pocket of the Welsh countryside, everything has been thoughtfully considered, designed and constructed to a tee. From a desolate farmhouse 17 years ago, to a place at times surreally beautiful. Observing closely you will notice all kinds of clever touches, with no intention to be noticed, but to quietly shine. Giles, your warmth and humour, along with your kind suggestions for our trip, really lifted the time for us. Vivaldi accompanying the finest English breakfast farewell.. What you both have created and maintain has enriched the lives of so many. Just wonderful. Thank you so much.

Liked The best thing was the welcome from Neil and Aisa, really lovely couple. The campsite is really nice, a field next to woodland, with some really cool features like the gas powered shower, a beautiful lake and communal fire areas. We recommend The Hunter's Inn a short walk away :-)

Liked Nice, easy going vibe to this site. A mix of families, groups of young lads and couples such as us. Kept our beer + milk cool in the stream next to the tent, nice. One shower, two toilets - all kept very clean throughout the day.

Liked A beautiful natural place, quiet and tranquil with each pitch having its own firepit. Well maintained and well thought out facilities, a real treasure of a campsite. The wood-fired pizza is delicious! Jessie & her dad were very welcoming and helpful, we were very glad to have discovered this place. Thanks guys, looking forward to the next visit!

Liked Really well maintained campsite in the middle of a beautiful bit of the UK. Facilities clean, the Royal Oak down the road does wonderful food.

Disliked The site hosts both campers and a wedding reception. You could faintly hear the music from the reception in the evening. If that's the kind of thing that bothers you, it could be useful to know. It didn't bother us, we had a great stay. I did see a sign 'No alcohol to be brought on site'. I wonder if that's for the troublemakers, we quietly enjoyed a bottle of red without bother.

Liked Everything! This was our favourite campsite ever. Zoe and Glen have done a terrific job at what was already an outstandingly beautiful spot. The facilities were top class, we loved our stay here.
