Disliked Reception closed Sathrday 1pm to Monday 9am except for a big party Sunday approx midday No nearby shops. .. Picked this site for the access to Pisa A 2 4km walk to San Romano station up and down hill in the heat

Disliked Lake was a drive down the road. Showers in the morning were tepid ? Heated by solar panels. Restaurant was open for dinner ( but not breakfast as adults ertised)3

Disliked can be noisy, large campsite for groups next door with a loud PA system long hike to the toilets, and no short cut around the fences on the permanent pitches

Liked Not a conventional campsite, 3 large pitches behind the club building including a barbeque site with power provided you have a long lead For the hardy who do not mind rocks lake swimming is within 10 metres, othewise approx 50m for a nice soft sandy beach Several restaurants/cafes within 50-100 m around the lake Lots of pleasant cycling routes nearby including crossing the border to Germany (100m) or the tripoint with Czechia, Germany and Poland 3km away Very friendly and helpful staff - we got a free bottle of fizz!

Disliked the yacht club actually rents out windsurfers, paddle boards and canoes but only to the public at weekends and every day in August. Wish I had known this as I wanted to try a paddleboard. Can be noisy in the evening as the site is close to a public path

Disliked Pitches on the small side, site well packed Could not get WiFi to work, nor would the 4G on our phones. I think there is a problem with Internet access in this area

Disliked Although the lake is 500m down the road the nearest access to the water is in Dellach. Very few open restaurants or grocery shops near the site

Liked View over Florence from the restaurant and pool. Breakfast at the restaurant Efficient transport to Florence, free shuttle to Fiesole then no 7 to the centre

Disliked Very steeply terraced site with steep steps to the bathroom. Many narrow pitches on very hard ground. Rotten wooden fence marking edges of slopes. Getting there, only via San Domenico is suitable for larger vehicles, and once on site manoeuvring is awkward in places

Liked Location in the hills of Tuscany. On site restaurant with extensive wine and food menu. One of the best campsite restaurants I have come across. Prices very reasonable eg risotto for 1peuros

Disliked Find the site. Few signs. Access road is hiding behind a petrol station
