Liked Lovely toilet block, beautiful beach that wasn't busy in summer hols on hot days. Fantastic park and loads of space for children to play and ride bikes. Lovely reception team. There's a bus stop that takes you into Aberystwyth a 10 minutes walk away. Eggs in reception to buy, would be amazing if they also had milk.

Liked Good parks, nice layout of camping ground with very flat pitches. Good facilities. Food and drink was good value.

Disliked Not enough toilets or showers. Showers had flooded as blocked with hair and can't turn them off due to tokens. Paying for a shower on an already overpriced site and not being told tokens needed to be purchased, so have to walk over to reception before having a shower! Dog poo all over the field. We asked to camp near friends, although there was loads of space we weren't allowed to move. Very overpriced!

To answer some of your dislikes; in addition to the utilities block at the back of the camping pitches, there is a second shower block in the main building. Payment for shower tokens is stated in our Pitchup listing and by our reception team during check-in, and there are numerous dog-waste bins located around the park.

Liked Beautiful surroundings, lakes and bar area. The playground is really good. Lots of space to camp with spots under the trees. Small shop. Good atmosphere. Walking distance to Calne. Lovely dog walking nature walk around the site. Great for fishing

Disliked The toilets and showers, although cleaned and looked clean enough, had lots of cobwebs and build up of grime around the edges of doors and corners. The showers in the shared mens and ladies were nicer, but I don't love them being unisex in a family set up. Very expensive for our family at £47 a night and I just don't feel it was worth this.

Liked Fantastic location. Shrewsbury is such a pretty town. We used the site as a base, Shrewsbury train station is a 10 minute walk, from here we took the train to Aberystwyth, this is a really scenic route. The showers on site are perfect, lovely and hot, free running water with a sink and toilet. Our visit was February, so the site was quiet, I can imagine they'd be a queue for these in the summer months as there are only 4 onsite. There's a cute little book nook in the entrance. This isn't a fancy site with landscaped grounds, but it does everything you need.. electric that doesn't trip! Great showers, lots of water taps, in a lovely pretty town. We had a lovely few days. Thank you :)

Liked Lovely and clean, children loved the warm pool. A nice little shop. Toilets and showers kept clean. Really well kept plants and flowers, you can tell that a lot of care goes into looking after the site. Take bikes and you can access the stover trail. The children rode to Newton Abbot, we walked, and got the train to Torquay. In a rural location, with chickens and cats who came to visit.

Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Liked We loved this camping trip. Lovely small campsite, with a warm, clean shower block. Nice layout, which meant the children could play on their bike. The pump track and park are great and loads of walks. A 5 minute drive to Aberdare, and local takeaways deliver if needed.

Disliked Would be handy to be able to buy essentials like milk, but really not a problem!

Liked Nice location, within walking distance of Dawlish Warren. The Marquee Bar is nice, but the pizza are just cooked Chicago pizza!!!!

Disliked The site is huge, and although the facilities are ok (quite dated, need modernisation), there were just far too many people there to accommodate. Really no need to book for swimming anymore! Booking slots filled within minutes. Dirty toilets and showers. Our pitch was dirty. Seagulls swoop the site at 6am. No wardens. We could have used 5 pitches and no one would have known!!

We will pass on your comments re cleanliness of the toilets and showers, but these are cleaned multiple times throughout the day. Liked Lovely chilled site with fab playground. Good pitches and very clean facilities. Firepits that can be used. Small site, with a lovely atmosphere.

Disliked Don't be put off by lack of response from email and phone. Reception isn't always manned. Pitch up showed only 1 pitch left and non for electric for one night, I booked anyway and when we arrived, there were many free pitches with and without electric!!! Very friendly and helpful once there.
