Liked Clean, modern facilities. Perfect sized camping pitches overlooking the beautiful bay. Plenty of water points. The entertainment was fantastic for the kids. The prices when you are there are very reasonable. And the there is a shop on-site with EVERYTHING you will need. We will be returning again next year!

Liked Lovely location, friendly staff. There is a very tranquil canal walk not too far away with some friendly pubs in the local village. All of the amenities were clean and well cared for. Animals everywhere, so brilliant for little ones. I will definitely be coming back!!

Liked There is always a warm welcome here, with fire pits provided and logs available for purchase. The toilets and washing facilities are always clean and fresh. There is a beautiful nature trail that runs alongside a river (that the kids paddled in) I cannot recommend Porthamel highly enough. There are even tree swings for kids too!!

Liked Everything was clean, easily accessible. The owners were fantastic and help where they can. Mini library. Washing and cleaning facilities which are included. Lovely out off the way location. All in all it was just a brilliant made to stay and i can't recommend it enough.

Liked The views, tent pitches were flat.

Disliked Had quite an unwelcome feel to the site. Information booklet made it feel like we were inconveniencing them by staying there. Grass area for tents seemed to be made entirely out of rocks and stones so pitching the tent was very difficult but appreciate that's not managements fault. Broken glass all over the grass area. Metal gates for using the toilet you have to swipe to get in, but with 5 people (3 of whom were young children) and only 1 swipe card. Felt very prison-y with the gates. We left as early as possible the following morning.

Liked Great facilities, including a freezer. Wonderful owners that are very helpful. Even a little shop that sells pretty much everything you need.
