Electric grass pitch
Liked We've been here twice now and the kids love the open space and the planes.
Its clean and tidy.
Very good location
Quiet at night
Disliked There was no where to bath/wash our baby. He went nearly a week without a bath.
The campsite could do with another block of toilets. Theres only 4 female toilets for the whole campsite, I understand its a smaller campsite but it just didnt seem enough.
The shop was closed ALOT of the time even when it said on the door it would be open.
The ground is very very hard, we had rock pegs and found it very difficult to put the tent up.
The park needs some TLC, the play equipment is very old and can easily splinter a childs hand. The kids didnt enjoy the park especially as it was for under 7s which seems a shame for slightly older children.

From the manager: Its a shame you fell this way after being here twice before knowing we have no baby washing facilities. There are actually only 2 female toilets and a gents all the rest are unisex. The convince shop sign says its open when we are in it or core hours, and was not closed ALOT as you say, as we are in it nearly all the time at this time of year. The ground is especially hard this year as we have had no rain for months

3 bedroom lodge (six person, hot tub)
Liked Location was perfect
Everything was easy to use such as the washing machine, dish washer, shower etc
Hot tub is an absolute must!
Larger lodge than expected, very good heating given the time of year.
Staff were friendly and helpful
Children ages between 6 months and 12 all had a brilliant time and slept very well.
Disliked Windows drafty and some didn't close properly
Cleaning on arrival could have been done better, dust, dead flies in bathroom and a top found under the sofa
The path outside was very slippy near the hot tub
Signal terrible
Wi-Fi was bad
Lack of lighting on the stairs to the carpark below was very poor.

Tor View non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch (no pets)
Liked Lots of space in the field we stayed in and beautiful views
Disliked We've stayed at this campsite around 6 times over the years and always loved it, but this visit we were disappointed. The toilets smelt horrible and were not cleaned often. Whilst my 2 little girls (4+5) were showering the water stopped several times meaning they had to stand in the cold, wet and freezing.
The swimming pool was full of clumps of hair and also didn't seem clean.
I was asked my staff in the restaurant/bar if I was buying alcohol for a 9 year old 😳 I was embarrassed she even had to ask!
