Liked Spacious and clean hard standing pitches

Disliked When we arrived reception/shop was closed, no staff around, I tried to phone multiple times using the option for campaign team and wouldn't even ring. Eventually a man on a bike turned up asking if we were ok, and told us the gate code and said pitch where ever we wanted, he did say we should have had an email with pitch number on which we didn't have. We didn't see a member of staff all weekend. Toilet and shower block need a deep clean, they are not pleasant at all and absolutely freezing! Very poor signal for phones and internet

Disliked *The barrier comes down far to fast when trying to enter with a car and large touring caravan *Road way round is very tight, cars were parked on every corner, when leaving in the morning we would have been jammed in if some other guests hadn't been packing up and moved their car so we could use their pitch to get round *Pitch was also tight to get on *People started a fire around 10pm which made it impossible to keep windows open (rules state no fires) *The toilets/showers are very old but functional - we didn't take a shower in there

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback. We took over the campsite two years ago, and many improvements were needed. In 2025, we added new pitches, completely renovated the snack/bar, and introduced more entertainment and services (bar, snack, bakery, etc.). The barrier had difficulty detecting twin-axle caravans. We learned from last season and now only accept this type of caravan on three large pitches located at the entrance of the campsite, for everyone’s comfort. This winter, we renovated the sanitary facilities and improved several pitches. We are also working on our English and hope to see you again. Aurélie and Fred

Liked Lovely and quiet Toilets and showers warm and clean Food in restaurant was very nice Kids loved the arcade

Disliked No seat/bench in the shower and only 1 hook, made it very difficult to keep clothing dry and be able to get changed Swimming booking miraculously disappeared after booking 24 hours in advance so very disappointed children who had waited all day

Liked Beautiful clean campsite with very spacious pitches, the facilities were always very clean! Plenty space for children to run and play with the extra bonus of 2 parks! Location is ideal for Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Scarborough!

Liked Plenty toilet and shower facilities, which were always clean. The bar area was spacious, clean and lovely food The entertainment team were brilliant, the kids really enjoyed them (Shayne, Abbi, Heather & Nim) Park area Pool area was clean and well organised On site shop was very handy Walking distance to the beach

Disliked The pitch was in a slope which wasn't ideal in a tent WiFi advertised in the bar but didn't work

Liked The spacious grass area, amazing food from the cafe/bar

Disliked male toilets blocked and the man fixing them left all the drain covers off, not great when there's kids running around playing
