Disliked The campsite advertises itself as having a pool, but using it is impossible. All time slots are fully booked, and you cannot book online. The pool staff are unfriendly and unable to help you use the pool you have already paid for.

From the manager: Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that you left feeling so disappointed. We certainly don’t want our swimming pool to become a case of “you can look, but you can’t swim!” It’s in our nature to provide our guests with a great range of facilities, and we appreciate that being unable to secure a swimming session can be frustrating. Swimming sessions can be particularly popular during busy periods, so we recommend booking in advance. Activities and swimming sessions can be booked up to two weeks before your arrival, giving you the best opportunity to secure your preferred times. We communicate this information through our pre-arrival emails, website and social media platforms, so our guests have plenty of opportunities to plan and book ahead. I would be surprised if our pool team were intentionally unfriendly, and I suspect on this occasion they simply weren’t able to offer a solution when the sessions were already fully booked. I’m sorry if this came across differently, as we certainly expect our teams to be helpful and welcoming. We hope you might give us another opportunity to show you more of what “It’s in our nature” really means.
