Liked Peaceful location but only a short drive into Windermere. Stunning views down the valley to Windermere lake. Pods excellent very clean, fluffy towels all bed linen provided. Thoughtful touches tea and coffee and biscuits welcome pack and bathroom comfort pack. Kitchen excellent provision of equipment, space for food prep. Oven, hob and microwave easy to use good size fridge. Teenagers appreciated WiFi and TV especially after a day on the hills. Hosts have thought of everything whole site well laid out and maintained to very high standards. We did not use communal areas but if you were to come as a group or large family Jo it house great for chilly evenings of games or the outside area for evening fires and time together a great idea. A brilliant find if you are planning an out of season adventure a little bit of luxury and warmth after exhilarating day on the hills. Pods are well insulated and have plenty of heating for colder evenings.

Liked Site well kept, clean and tidy. Good size pitches. Washroom facilities spotless. Wardens so helpful and went above and beyond to help. We're never made to feel anything was too much trouble. Great games field and dog walking area.

Liked Shower facilities and toilets immaculate. Cleaned zRegularly through the day. Site managers very helpful, recommended trips, entertained my children in reception !! Site clean quiet and safe for children, loads of space for children to run and play. Wonderful views of Coast from pitches. Can't comment on wifi go on holiday to avoid it!

Liked Pitches well organised and clearly marked. Owners so helpful and a great source of local knowledge. Safe games field for kids to play away from people's tents and great games room Great facilities so clean and regularly serviced endless hot water and large family facilities. Great position for exploring area owners great local knowledge. Owners really helpful especially when my husband broke lock of trailer provided tools and got us on our way! Such a lovely campsite feel like I want to keep it a wonderful hidden secret
