Liked Great location in a lovely village with a fab pub for food and drinks and good country walks straight from the site. Good size pitches, easy to get tent pegs into the ground, good reliable power supply and spotless well appointed amenities block. My stay was for 3 days, which l thoroughly enjoyed.

Liked The site owners are most helpful, friendly and accommodating. The pitches are huge, well spaced and in wonderful natural surroundings, full of wild flowers and trees; there is even access to the beautiful river Vyrnwy. The facilities are excellent, spotlessly clean and characterful.

Liked The site manager was most helpful and the pitch was level and in good condition. Fantastic heated shower block and toilet block, both of which were in great condition and were spotlessly clean. Site security barriers are effective and secure.

Liked Top notch wild campsite, with the added benefit of Great facilities, including good toilets & washroom and a well equipped kitchen area with indoor seating. Great surrounding countryside, good walks and direct access to the river Vyrnwy. The hosts are very helpful and accommodating.

Liked Friendly site with good, modern, clean facilities and helpful manageress. Spacious level pitch, with good ground - easy to insert tent pegs. Great security, whilst not impeding entry to and exit from the site. Easy access from the A46 but there was no traffic noise.

Disliked There was nothing to dislike, despite poor weather during the stay.

Liked Flat pitches with short grass and stone free ground so easy to pitch the tent. Good spotless facilities and friendly helpful staff. Quiet site but close to the village shops and pub.

Liked Great easy to find location. Secure, well maintained and well managed site with helpful staff and a fab, clean, heated toilet and shower block. Several good pubs within easy walking distance and a fuel station with shop and an Aldi close to the site.

Liked Quirky site tucked away in glorious countryside. Friendly and welcoming owner. Basic but clean and functional facilities. Lovely sheltered tent pitch in Wudu Wood, with Tawny Owls, Pheasants and a very friendly Robin for company. Pitch sizes are ok for up to medium sized tents. Great pub with excellent food - Marquis of Granby - a five minute drive away. Very little light pollution so great night skies (when there were breaks in the rain clouds). A good torch is a must. Despite the somewhat remote location, there is a decent EE phone signal.

Liked Good ground so easy to pitch the tent. Great views over Newhaven and the Channel. Good, clean, well maintained toilets and washing facilities. Right next to open access downland so Good walks for you and a furry companion.

Liked Great location which feels remote but is close to Oswestry. The undulating field has a good choice of pitches- it was a pleasant surprise to be allowedtochoose where l pitched my tent. The provision of a kitchen, tables and chairs in the building housing the well equipped shower room and toilets, is great if you travel light or the weather is less than ideal. The old race course is nearby with great views and well worth a visit.

Disliked Mobile signal on ee was a bit hit and miss, though this could be a benefit!

Liked Great location and easy to find on the edge of the village. Site staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely landscaped, gated and secure site with good ground, making it easy to pitch the tent. An unusual feature is that there is a bath nder the shower in the shower room! There is a church with a magnificent steeple just across the road and the pub just down the road is worth a visit.

Disliked My only dislike is that l was not able to stay longer!

Liked Great location on the northern edge of the forest and close to a great pub which does good food. Easy walking distance into the Forest. Decent clean toilets and shower. The owner Paul was most helpful and accommodating.

Liked Great location close to Chichester and Selsey Bill, with great coastline and countryside to explore. Easy interesting walk to pub with great food & drink - Blacksmiths Arms. Good size pitches separated from adjacent pitches by long grass with herbs and wildflowers. Peaceful and relaxing site.

Liked The location is fantastic within easy walking distance of Tennyson Down, the Needles and Alum Bay. The Highdown pub is next to the site and has a good range of drinks and excellent food, seafood being their speciality. The amenities block is fabulous ; very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The site is unlit, so on a clear night you get great views of the stars. There is a well stocked onsite shop which also provides coffees and snacks.

Disliked I could not find any mirror in the amenities block so l probably had rather scary hair in the mornings!

Liked Lovely spacious site with a great choice of areas to pitch. Plenty of good clean composting loos spaced out around the site. Nice quiet relaxed location in an area of outstanding countryside.

Disliked There was nothing on the site to dislike however an inconsiderate jaguar driver went along a track just outside the perimeter fence at such a ridiculous speed that the dust cloud covered my tent!

Liked Fabulous location with views over Modbury and to Dartmoor. The site owner gave a great welcome and is a fascinating person to have a conversation with about conservation and sustainability. A true eco friendly site with a rather luxurious composting loo. Highly recommend.

Liked Lovely quiet uncrowded location. I stayed in the Meadow, which had loads of space to choose a pitch and decent, clean toilets. Good ground so t was easy to put in he tent pegs. It was great to hear Tawney Owls hooting in the adjacent Wood.

Liked Great location for exploring the surrounding countryside. Good pubs for food closeby. Very good facilities for a wild camping type campsite. Good size pitches, good ground allowing easy pegging of the tent.
