Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Fantastic pop-up farm campsite in a great location. Basic but excellent value, with super-clean flushing toilets and lovely warm showers. Perfectly placed for access to the coast path, with Porthcothan, Mawgan Porth and the surrounding area just a short drive away. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming too. Would definitely recommend!
Disliked The only improvement I’d suggest would be to have a little more space between camping pitches where possible and/or making this clearer to people, as some campers were quite close together. It might also be worth considering additional waste facilities or bins around the site, as there was a little rubbish blowing around in the morning. Otherwise, everything was great!

Liked What a lovely little site! The location is absolutely stunning. It's remote but peaceful and there's no light pollution so perfect for the stars at night. It's a 10 minute walk along the river into the town of Knighton where there's a selection of cafes, shops (including a huge Co-op) and pubs which do really good food. The river banks I imagine are popular in the summer. The site is also right on the Offa's Dyke path.
Lovely friendly owners. Amazing new shower and toilet block with underfloor heating. Access to a fridge/freezer, kettle, charging points and covered washing up area. Great value too. Couldn't fault it!

Non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Lovely little quiet back to basics site with a real rustic, wild camp feel. Lots of beautiful land and wooded areas that you're free to roam and views too. Basic facilities (what is says on the tin) were kept very clean. Really friendly couple running it too made us feel all the more welcome. Super location for Shaftesbury, lots of lovely walking and Compton Abbas airfield. Will definitely be back.
Disliked Could have a little bit more choice in where you pitch. Site was quiet but everyone felt quite close together.

From the manager: It would be great to welcome you back again. We have just opened up more areas so there is more choice in where you can pitch up now, meaning everyone can be a bit more spread out! Thanks for staying, and loved your pictures. Barney and Ellie.
Launceston, Cornwall, England
Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked It wasn't busy, hosts were really friendly, reasonably level ground, it's basic and remote but quiet. There's portaloos and a porta showers (new toilet block is being built). Despite being inland still handy to access the coastline.
Disliked No hot water to wash up with and only 1 sink available.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Very friendly hosts. Toilet and shower block is spotless. Simple and well kept site. Ideally situated for Newgale beach (5 minute drive), Haverfordwest (10 minutes in the other direction) and generally exploring the area. We walked into Nolton Haven, it's a good 30/40 minute walk but lovely little cove with a pub and a restaurant there too.
Disliked Only one washing up station so often had to wait. Could do with a bin in the toilet block main area.
