Liked Quiet site, fairly flat, close to towns for shopping/outings. Affordable.

Disliked New restrictions regarding car parking away from pitch seemed unnecessary given the size of the site.

From the manager: Thanks for your feedback Lois. Parking away from your pitch was trialled to enable a quieter atmosphere for our guests and neighbours and reduce noise at night time from people going into their cars unnecessarily.

Liked Fantastic location, friendly hosts, clean facilities, who’s available for fires. No rush to vacate early on departure day. Hosts are very flexible and accommodating.

Liked Stunning location in the middle of the countryside with the top of the Brecon Beacons visible in the distance. Site owner is cheerful and helpful. He gave us eggs and firewood and recommended a lovely local restaurant. There are plenty of local walks with fantastic scenery. Local castles and towns are also well worth a visit. I took a tent with me whilst my daughter and her partner rented one of the bell tents. The bell tent was lovely and came with a few little luxuries. This was my second visit to the site and I will definitely return.

Liked Lovely peaceful site on a farmers field. Lovely to be able to have a fire by the tent and to be left to your own devices. Farmer checked on everyone twice a day and was generous enough to provide eggs to all campers. Spacious site which was quiet when I visited.

Liked Peaceful spacious site. Tranquil setting but close to local amenities and larger cities. Facilities were clean and tidy. Owner was friendly and the fees were very affordable.
